Anyone else feel like if we hadn't heard IIHAG before, it would be many of our favorites on the album?

I really like EOTR too... but the atmosphere of it is so overwhelming that it may take a few days to make a proper judgement. Im having such a hard time rating these songs as they all seem awesome. Really loving NGHFB.

Really loving NGHFB. i am having the same problem(but not with EOTR/IIHAG) and not exactly because "they all sound awesome". I mean i know what i really like and what i really dislike(AKA WAL) but then... there are the middle of the road tunes, which i have to give a few more listens before i can fairly rate them.

it's a 3-way tie for strongest song between EOTR, RM and STC. EOTR is just stunning overall, and I love how RM and STC are moved up a key, it makes the melodies so much better. The "you can't give me a reason" part in RM gives me goosebumps everytime. I went for a run earlier and put the album in iPod and listened to it as I went on a 5 miler and when RM hit I really picked it up haha. Overall a beautiful album to me, and if I had to pick a weakest song, it would probably be DO, and I still really like that song. Goes to show how excellent of an album this is. Noel Gallagher, you've made a fantastic album and I can't wait to see you perform Nov. 11 in Philly!

After 3 listens, 2 in the car, 1 at the gym and about to embark on the stereo at home.
Best: EOTR is the best song without question, SOTWB I'm really enjoying.
Worst: Dream On was a bit of a let down because of reading that it was in the same vein as Digsy's Dinner and She's Electric but I still found myself singing along to the Shout it out for mes though.
Hate the way that Record Machine has been produced, I'll probably replace it with the demo version in future, not sure on Stop the Clocks atm.
8/10 for me at this point. I'd like to think its a fairly rational rating, but a lot of the songs that we haven't heard yet have the potential to grow. Definitely getting a big kinks vibe on the new songs.
