This forum is always awful pre-release time. It's when all the wannabes show up but it's actually when I try to steer clear. It's full of socially inept, badly bred idiots who suddenly grow a pair behind the wall of a keyboard. Unfortunately it's what happens to most forums, the runner is happy with high volume and increased users even if the product deteriorates. Invitation only boards are the only solid platform left. It used to be great here, it's just pathetic now. Newsroom is still handy though.

Wow, can't believe some of the abuse that's being dealt out on this forum. Take the latest Zappa wind up for instance, he's having a laugh and people are threatening his kids with rape. Fucking disgraceful behaviour, it's you knuckle dragging goons that give oasis fans a bad name. You're not that desperate for a fucking album leak are you, you've waited 2 years so I'm sure another week won't hurt. I know most of it is only jokes but it's not funny, in any way. This forum used to be so good, with intelligent posters, interesting topics, good humour, the latest audio/video...and NL4E. Now it's a load of keyboard warriors that contribute absolutely nothing and bring everyone down in general Something needs to be done about this or I'm off, and I'm sure people join me. Bingo. This forum has become a battleground these past few days, too many impatient vaginas, never seen it this bad before. |

The forum is brilliant at the minute.
It's exciting, funny and there's some real tension in the air.
I have been on here for nearly three years and it would be easy for me to sit on my high horse and say that it's terrible and the new users are scum etc. but that's just not the case. The forum is the best it's ever been. The thread where that geezer leaked the Disney songs was one of the funniest threads I've ever read on here for example. However, that was ruined when certain people began to find a couple of clear jokes 'disgusting' and called for people asking for links to be banned.
It's just a case of certain long term members getting pissy because the forum is no longer all about them, their boring, on the fence opinions and their inflated egos and delusions of grandeur. They have always considered themselves better and more intelligent and interesting than anyone else but I hate to break it to them; these last few weeks have made it clear that they are not.
