the email's don't mean they have been sent and more likely just been packed ready for postman pat. So they're probably just sitting at the DC gathering dust for a few days.

Correct, I've had these e-mails for the album and aka single but anyone else whose had the dispatched e-mails look closely, It says STATUS: Shipped but SHIP DATE: 2011-10-17. There being shipped on the 17th but we've had the e-mails earlier, obvious some automated thing.  |

And lets be honest an E-Mail saying the album has been shipped is a long, long way from one of the fake it's leaked threads started around here the last few days! I get why everyone claiming to have or have heard the album is treated with suspicion but to doubt this is a little too paranoid....

The earliest you'll recieve it could be next Friday at a push. If you get a physiccal copy before next wednesday i'll never eat bacon again, you have my word  |

These are the same e-mails you will have received. And besides why whould they send the album out 11 days early but not make the pre-order download available till the street date Kinda renders it redundant. I thought the whole point of the pre-order download was to tide you over till you received the physical copy. |

Surely the emails must be a mistake? I mean, you can't really accidentally ship a couple of thousand albums almost 2 weeks too early? Would be a nice surprise though, if the album would arrive somewhere next week |
