Ryan Adams is decent some god awful tunes on there though but his best in a long time. I've actually re visited the holy bible by the manic street preachers today. Very good but haunting on the base of richey Edwards like first gig I ever went to see was the Manics at Portsmouth Guildhall on The Holy Bible tour, great band and in the early days lyrically they were superb... Didnt like the watered down stuff later on though design for life and all that, seemed they were aiming for the mass market.. My second gig was Oasis at Southampton Guildhall, say no more.. Sweet. I'm guessing richey wasnt there? He was the heart Of the lyrics. Musically though it was the other 3 playing. To be fair though i don't blame them you make 3 cult albums suddenly Brit pop is blowing up around you ya gonna want a piece of that. |

They came on with YES and just tore the place a new one.. I saw them again recently at Southampton Guildhall just as the last album came out and they were still v good live. They did a stripped down version of this is yesterday which was a treat.. Anyway I am going to hit the sack and hopefully there will be some news tomorrow.. I am in two minds as whether I should just wait and buy the album on release day... |

Fuck me, this is frustration personified. I got a lead on Twitter at about 6pm-7pm. Some Brasilian tweeted somethin like "Can't wait til this evenin when @--------- gives me the link for the new Noel Gallagher album". I was like "Right! You're gettin followed and @---------". So, had me tea, got ready, went out, hoped to come home to some good news... fuck that, any news! But nothin. Neither of em have SENT a tweet let alone exchanged tweets between eachother. Oh, well, a bit knackered, let's see how long I hold out. Any religious folk in ere, get prayin to your God's.
