Where does the song come from? And how come the very publicity active promotional team Noel's got didn't say a word about it?
I mean I would agree that he wanted to release maybe a mysterious song or something. But normally, noelgallagher.com would have announed it or something...
Maybe Amazon wasn't supposed to release it? Is it available on iTunes?

There are various theories. I'm coming round to the idea that maybe he just finished it recently, didn't want to wait until it was time for the 3rd HFB album and thought, fuck it. But it's just pure speculation.
Other theories cited on this forum:
- it's the original version of a track that will appear on the AA album.
- It didn't 'fit' with either album and Noel felt it was too good to be a b-side
- it's to take the spotlight away from any potential leak...people are talking about this instead.

Yeah it sure seems very weird. It does feel like amazon fucked up.
Noel's label have made some baffling decisions though like not releasing the WAL cd at the same time as the digital version.

i think he has decided to play it on tour and just put it out there so people will know what it is whilst also avoiding it appearing on youtube 2 years before its actually released

Original Release Date is 3 Oct 2011 so tomorrow they will for sure announcement the song in NG page.

But if it isn't going to be released in those countries anyway, then what is he costing himself by them having to get it illegally? The days of easy piracy really make little difference to the thinking behind these decisions.
