Sounds like Noel. And the phrasing and melody of the line is different than the HFB version so I wouldn't think it's a fan mock-up unless they worked really hard at it. In which case...get a life. Sounds interesting actually. Where is this clip?

it sounds epic, as above the falsettos / vocals are definitely real.

Ah! I guess this could be the first thing we've heard from the album then... If it's not bullshit, but sounds like NG to me... *EDIT* And let me add that it sounds fuckin' glorious! Much better than the uninspired NGHFB version we have now... the oops here

I love that funky bass line and the violin stabs. This sounds promising.

sounds real. I'm more excited for this album than the other one. It's gonna be mega Me too, but to be fair, I'm more exited about BE's second album than this one... But the AA colab. should be the the best of the bunch, I'm hoping so anyway. Yeah, I like this, but rock 'n' roll is where it's at. It's like, we all kinda like DOYS, but nobody would ever think of placing it above DM. Like I said, rock 'n' roll is where it's at.

Reminds of Tomorrow Never Knows. Sounds good, not as weird as it could have been but still rather unusual. As for the 3 songs, I'd say RM and STC as Noel probably has lots of versions of those already, so taking another one seems like a good idea.

I think the two AKA tunes, for some reason that part of their titles suggest to me that they may have been named something else at one time and were then adjusted to fit the HFB album. I'd assume Record Machine or Stop The Clocks will be the other

My assumption was that he had 18 tracks done with AA but has saved a few for b-sides/bonus tracks

If it's true, that's fuckin bullshit. typical Noel and his post-Morning Glory questionable cock-fucked decision-making

According to the Times interview it's four songs on both not three. Noel's a bit hazy with facts huh!?
I really hope he puts the AA album out sooner rather than later. If it's a 'companion' album with different versions of the same songs it doesn't make sense for it to come out too long after the first album. Plus if he delays it until winter 2012, it'll just give him an excuse to be lazy and take longer with the third album...

nice little interview/review. Learned that SOTWB is a probably gonna be a decent track. it's also important to note that he says IIHAG got the AA treatment so that wipes just about all doubt that the little snippet we've got is fake. also not a problem joeyfrancis.
