Their policy states:
All Sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges.
Yeah. Ok. Fuck that. I'm raising hell if they don't refund the 2 added tickets. It's their own slow website that's causing the problem.

I have no idea if I even got those seats. It timed out during checkout yet I was still charged. I called my credit card company. I went back to get another set and got row F. Also timed out during checkout. I guess a lot of people are having problems if I was also able to get F in the parquet almost 45 minutes later. Those dirty fuckers in Philadelphia! Yeah, I have another 2 tickets for the Parquet Box - which was a mistake due to the constant timing out nonsense, and which I don't want, hence being on hold for the last fucking hour. This blows. Did you at least get an email confirmation? I don't think they want to pickup the phones NL4E. I am going to give them hell and I'm sure there are hundreds more calling in.

Yeah I got an email confirmation (did you check your spam folder?). So I know I have my tickets ordered. I'm calling about canceling the 2 that were ordered by mistake. And God damn, pick up the fucking phone.

So it keeps saying I have reached my maximum allowed tickets purchased so naturally I am trying to see what my Kimmel Center accout says in its records, the site times out and I am unable to even access it. FYI, I only signed up for an account at 9 AM.

I am so happy I got my tickets during presale. I hopped in today to see if I could possibly pull up seats in the front 2 rows and it kept timing out on me also. A fucking mess. I need 4 tickets and I don't think I would have gotten close to getting them today. I couldn't get any seats at all. It kept telling me that I selected a number over the ticket limit for this show. Either their website is fucked up or this show is in such high demand that their site can't handle the amount of traffic.

The only thing making me happy right now is listening to the Kasabian album which leaked yesterday while on hold for the Kimmel Center hotline.

FYI, I only signed up for an account at 9 AM. I could view my account - which I only set up at 10am while ordering - 45 mins ago, but now it's not loading. WTF, this isn't the year 2000, there's no excuse for this shit. Edit: it finally loaded. Still on hold. If she thanks me for continuing to hold one more time, I'm going to break something.

I picture the Kimmel Center box office to be like a 1940s movie theater tix window with two girls working the phones.

The one positive light is that there is a really good chance he will hit Philly again next year when he does a full blown world wide tour. I pray he doesn't come back and play a shit venue like TLA or Electric Factory. Standing room only sucks, in a perfect world he would play The Susquehanna Bank Center like he did with Oasis but I highly doubt they would sell enough tickets for that place, but you never know. The way the Kimmel Center site is acting, you would think the whole world wants in on this show, hahaha.

Ok status update for you NL4E. I finally got into "my account". It says I have two tickets for the parquet, row A for November 11, 2011. So now I have my account telling me I have tickets and my credit card being charged for the tickets. The only thing missing is a confirmation email. I've taken screen grabs of everything to present to them in case they try to fuck me. They are totally misleading me right now if I don't in fact have these seats. Bastards.

I'm still on hold. They need to cancel my Parquet Box tickets, fuck their policy.
Congrats on getting Row A, though (seemingly)

It is probably easier just to work with a ticket scalper than deal with this corporate bullshit machine at the moment. On Kasabian...I love how Serge compared 'Neon Noon' to 'Wish You Were Here'. They don't sound a thing alike. I think a year ago Tom compared the entire album to Dark Side of The Moon. Also a bold claim. It doesn't.

Well that's now 90mins on hold. They have 30 more mins, then I'll try later and give them additional hell for having me on hold for 2hours. That will heavily sway them refunding my ticket if push comes to shove.

In reference to going the scalper route-You're right about that. I was prepared to go the stub hub route for this show but I am glad I didn't have to. Face value is always preferred. Hell I got face value World Series tickets for game 3 in 2008. They cost me $50, I saw them on stubhub for around $1500 and up.

To be fair, Tom talks a lot of shite ;D I can see what Serge meant though. He got the inspiration from listening to Wish You Were Here while he was in the USA, I don't think he actually said it sounded like it. I can see the inspiration. Hopefully your ticket problems get sorted

Fuck that website. I'm really disappointed. I had Parquet, Row F, dead center, and it wouldn't take any of my credit cards. By the time I got back in, the only thing left is up in the balcony.
I usually tend to wait and buy off the second-hand market. I got my Beady Eye ticket for Philly well under face on Stubhub, and I haven't even considered getting a Beady Eye ticket yet for the show where I'm at here in DC.
However, the demand for Noel's show seems a lot stronger than Beady Eye. And, this theatre seems like a shit place, considering roughly a third of the tickets in the balcony and upwards are obstructed views. Will have to be careful when procuring tickets second-hand, that's for sure.
So...overall, really bummed. I usually don't rush in and buy, but for this show, and for dead center 10th row-ish I was stoked. Fuckers. Actually make Ticketbastard look fantastic.
I am over here at my office in Springfield, NL4E. I don't need two tickets, just the one, if you can't get your parquet circles refunded. Which parquet circle are they in?

I FINALLY GOT THROUGH TO SOMEONE ON THE PHONE!!!
The guy told me they had a massive crash of their online system (yeah you don't say!) and they have been swamped with angry phone calls since about 10:01 AM. I took me over two hours to get through. I got my original ticket order, row A in the parquet. The guy was kind enough to re-send an email confirmation which I now have. If anyone else had issues keep calling. Even though the site might have told you your tickets were released back and your order never took place it most likely did like mine was processed. Good luck to everyone going to Philly. See you at the show.

Alright, I keep dicking around with the site and think I've secured a good result. I got back into my original Parquet Row F...my seat is a little further to the right of the stage (facing it), but decent enough. $71 after all is said and done is kinda pricey. I understand its cheaper than some of the other gigs he's doing here in the states.
Anyone want to carpool up from the DC/Annapolis area, hit me up.

I've been to the Academy of Music to see Rain, it's not a shit venue. Just google it for pics of the inside. Tickets that say obstructed don't mean you are necessarily have something obstructing your view. My tickets for rain said obstructed view and that was because 4 seats over to the right of me there was a huge structural pillar that is part of the theaters foundation. Honestly it's probably once of the nicest places I've been to see a show. It used to be an old opera house.

I got two tickets in the parque, row A. The god damn website kept timing out during checkout. However, my credit card was still hit with $140 charge yet I have no email confirmation from the Kimmel Center. Those bastards have me on hold for almost an hour now. I want answers! How did you get row A? I got row N. Fuck this shit. ;D

Looks like I actually lucked out in the end with my ticket purchase going through!
Will find a way to flog off the extra 2 tickets, and with Kimmel Center admiting to problems, it may be possible to get a refund from them.
