I think it's probably because this is now the 3rd uk tour and people who have wanted to see them have and it's still the same set (probably) That plus the Noel tickets have only just come out and everyone is skint!

I don't know if I am that surprised tbh. I mean, the reasons said above would explain it. Maybe now that Noel's album is out the interest in Beady Eye has wayned somewhat.

I was at Reading on the weekend and the tent wasnt that packed and they didnt get the best reception to be honest. I think more people are interested in Noel now. They should have announced this tour unless they stated before hand that they were going to preview new material then everyone would have wanted to go. These tickets will still be on sale next Monday, i bet ya. I've never had a problem getting beady eye tickets. Manchester Apollo and Wolverhampton were a piece of piss. Getting Noel tickets was very very very hard

Its sad if the tour doesnt sell out, theyve done a lot of PR stuff the last few months and festivals, i would still expect it to sell out.
But on the other hand many of us saw them the first time which was great, the tour sold out asap then, but its going to be the same setlist no doubt and people want to wait till the tour for album #2.
I'm still going to see them but i would love a slight change to the set

I was too young to go though :/

i'm surprised! Very surprised! Never in a million years would i of expected this! For some reason i had a feeling they would make an announcement after the Leeds/Reading weekend for a UK winter tour. Tends to be a trend in the UK for artists to release winter tour dates at the end of August. I kind of predicated the Blackpool Empress Ballroom show. What a venue. Either that, or maybe the GMEX. I think the MEN Arena would be too big? But Blackpool definitley! On a Friday night as well! This is going to be the local show for whole of Lancashire, Liverpool, Manchester. I got my Blackpool tickets at 9.01am yesterday. And right now there are plenty left! I'm beyond shocked! Like i say! I thought they could of played either Blackpool or GMEX! Christ almighty!!

TCT at the start of the year also didn't sell out, if I remember correctly.

im not surprised and this could be a bit embaressing especially for Liam, he really wanted to show he could do it without Noel but poor sales and failing to sell out those venues are gonna feel like a dick slapping him in the face
then again Noels gigs could end up only being half full due to the hundreds and hundreds of tickets on tout sites

I'm going to defend Liam on this one. And the rest of band. The music stands up. Definitley!
On reflection has these latest UK dates received much promotion? Apart from an email from the Beady Eye mailing list, and a half page in this weeks NME, this is all promotion. I'm not sure the guy in the local pub and the man on the street knows about these gigs?

DGSS is a solid album, I still enjoy it very much. It's decent rock 'n' roll. Tbf Beady Eye started of with a lot of negativity around it, 90% of fans being trapped in the whole team noel vs team liam shit. They have got no where near the fanbase that Oasis had, which must be really quite a shock for them. Also, unless you are a very new band, you don't get 'hyped' on the radio anymore and if you don't get a lot of airplay people forget easily. Most people that are casually interested already seen them as well, as they already did a UK tour and the festivals. And yeah the promotion hasn't been great for this tour, I guess they thought it'd automatically sell out. I expected this, but it's still a shame as they don't deserve it. I hope they won't get too upset about it and just carry on doing what they're doing.

I'd agree with that. My internet has been down lately so I haven't been on here much, but I only found out when my mate texted me the other day. Managed to get tickets for Sheffield which sold out pretty much straight away. Surprised the others haven't.

There success has been moderate true but they've done alright.

German gig cancelled and tickets can be used at either of two other German shows. Implies poor sales.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances the Beady Eye show in Offenbach on Oct 19th is cancelled. Tickets already purchased for this show are valid for the band’s shows in Munich and Berlin in October, or the tickets can be refunded at the place of purchase."

i just cant believe they are playing swindon.. Glad I got tickets I thought they would have all be sold out, by the time I finished work ;D Never been to a gig in Swindon before so looking forward to it. Don't get to excited, it's a fucking sports hall! Nah it's alright really, I've seen The Enemy and Weller there, decent gigs. The crowd at Weller was really flat but The Enemy went off, it was mega. The Oasis get some decent gigs these days, Kasabian played there in 09 too.
