I'm confused, are we going to hear it first on KROQ or on DJ bookie? And at what time? People are saying 11 PM (Toronto time?), that's 5 AM UK time, isn't it? The UK is ahead, not behind, in time. yeah, so he's almost right, if it's 11 Pm east coast usa it's 4 am in the uk |

No ways would Noel do an interview the morning that it goes to air and have them not play it. Why would a Columbus radio station have an exclusive over the station interviewing him. If CD101 plays it we'll have heard it already and it'll probably have already been on YouTube for a fee hours. i mentioned in the 'sewing circle' gossip thread that cd101 aired the first world exclusive interview about BDI's debut album, that's a true story. look in the newsroom. it happened last oct i think. so...... again, i'm just sayin' what i was told. i encourage those who can't fathom such ideas and thoughts to call the station and ask themselves. a reality check, the world as a whole isn't waiting for a Noel Gallagher exclusive. another reality check, his album will probably be great but not do too much commercially, i'm ok with that. i just hope Noel does, and continues to make the music he wants to make and doesn't worry too much about being 'successful' and commercial. so anyway, try to be in the Columbus area today, i'll bet your life that IIHAG is played between 11 a.m. e.s.t and 2 p.m. e.s.t. and again, just sayin'....... I don't think that it's impossible for CD101 to get a first play of something but it's not likely they promote when Noel is doing an interview in America live in studio earlier in the morning in bigger station. But BDI weren't even in the country. How weird would it be for Noel to do an interview at 7 am in LA and them NOT play the single but let a station that he isn't visiting have a new single. And tbh...Columbus doesn't even stream online. Why should I care if they play it. It's academic...particularly since you can't record it. |

That's why it makes no sense to have an announcement, or some hyped up premiere. It really is hard to do it in the US/Canada, there no national/continental radio station. Each area/state/coast/country/city has their own station that caters to them. |
