I'm not trying to start a Noel Vs Beady Eye thread. I'm just interested to see who bought what and why, seeing as it looks like Noel's debut is going to chart significantly higher than BDIs...
I only bought TDOYAM cos there was a cd version. Vinyl's no use to me as I don't have a record player, and I rarely buy mp3s because I'm getting old and I don't like change ;-)

I have only gotten around to buying The Roller so far. There wasn't a limited version of TDOYAM so I am in no rush to buy it. I don't have the money at the moment unfortunately.

Why can't you just use the vinyls as wall art? I don't have a player either, but I plan on sticking some of them in frames, etc once I get my room sorted... Now that I mention it, I have an empty frame on my desk right now...
I bought them both. They're all sitting in my Beady Eye box right now.

I can't get my head around the fact that the first 3 posters did not buy the single yet, or didn't even buy anything at all. If that's what fans on an Oasis/BeadyEye/NoelGallagher forum are like, how can we even expect regular fans to buy it?! And I don't have the money is a pretty lame excuse, it's only 3£!

I buy the albums and go to the shows. That's enough for me.

I bought both. But I only bought the digital of BDI and I bought the digital and CD of Noel.
I knew it was gonna take ages for the physical copy to get here but if I had realizes that the b-side was going to be played on radio I would t have bothered with the digital version.

Works out about £5 when you factor in postage. I've bought the CD & Vinyl myself but can empathise with the guys saying they have no money...amounts that might seem like nothing are still too much when you are broke. I can say that having been there myself. Forunately the year I was absolutely broke was 2009, the last 'luxury' item I bought that year was Falling Down single bundle from oasisinet (CD, 7", 12"). I've somehow always managed to have funds for the oasis stuff, landing on my feet etc. I bought The Roller on mp3 and got the vinyl later on (I wasn't aware of its release date, same as the prior two Beady Eye singles....good job I joined this place really). For TDOYAM I bought the CD & Vinyl.

I really see no reason why I should buy singles. I'll buy the albums when they are released, why should I buy the same song twice? I don't go to the bookstore and buy five copies of the same book of my favorite author.

I only purchased the Roller. Not really interested in buying Noels gear, its Oasis-lite. lol Nah, just been too lazy to get around to it. that and the shipping fees to the States are a fuckin joke. waiting out to see if a local shop carries it out here to avoid those shipping fees.

I bought both songs, thought its the least i could do. Granted you could think 'whats the point in buying it when i have the album' but 59p or whatever it is is nothing.
But as i said before Beady Eye royally messed up by not having a cd single

I bought neither. The only Oasis single I bought was D'You Know What I Mean aged 9, I don't buy singles so I'm not going to start now. Fair play to those that do though.
I think that having 2 free promos beforehand hurt The Roller as well. Everybody was excited for Bring The Light but the hype had died down a bit by the time The Roller was released. Wasn't it released after the album had leaked as well?
Noel is far more popular than Beady Eye overall though.

Considering i'm a college student already in an overdraft with a 2,000 fee due soon on top of accomodation I need all the £3 I can get. It's around €8 when including postage...that's a days worth of food for me.

I will buy it this week to aid chart positions! Just been on a holiday and to V Fest and move to uni in a matter of weeks so the money truly is a bit tight.

Bought both to "support the team", but purchased TDOYAM with more enthusiasm.
Wish I could pretend I was from the UK to help the chart position...assuming my purchase counts for Canada, which means diddly squat, as it wasn't offcially released here.

I just can't buy 'em sorry but being a student does not help me and this is a luxury i cant afford, if BDI had a release in here i would have buought the album but since they didnt i had to use an less legal way to get it. I'll try to buy NG one whenever I see one.
