This is the big one. Which of these legendary acts produced the goods with their first single in 2011?

PS. I hope everyone is happy with the choice of The Roller instead of Bring the Light as Beady Eye's debut single.

The Vaccines - Post break up sex Good track but it's from 2010 I ran out of space, but I really should have included an "other" option.

Rock is not only Kasabian, Red Hot, Coldplay, U2 and Paul Weller...... Calm down, calm down. There is a limit to how many bands I was able to include, so I included songs I thought the forum members would know. Not to mention Coldplay didn't make the cut.

the RHCP tune sounds like its suffering from Frusciantes departure, the Blood/By The Way/ Californication line-ups always gonna be the best

ridiculous poll. Where are Arctic Monkeys? Miles Kane? Kasabian? I said this before, but there is a limit to the number of options allowed in the poll. I should have included an "other" option, but as I suggested earlier, feel free to tell us your favourites here. johnnyb - They released it 2011, you're right. I just looked at when they uploaded it on youtube and it said (C) 2010 Sony Music Entertainment UK Limited. Not that it matters, it's a cracking tune.

Lotus Flower by a million miles. Even if some people hate Radiohead. You gotta admit that Lotus Flower is a damn good song.
