I'm starting to really like it...just don't like the "I don't care for the sunshine" part.

No... But I'm sure if I can heard Celion Dion a million time i'gonna say it's a grower at the end... The Death Of You And Me was immedialety a good tune for me... dont want to spend 56 time in a repat mode to found something good in a track...

I liked it the first time and I've liked it since. It's not a song I've been listening to all day like I do with some of the new songs, but it's good. Still about a 7 to me.

No. It sounds very rough so high chances it's just a demo so probably just chucked it on there.
It's a really boring tune in my opinion but I suppose we can't expect too much as The Death Of You And Me wasn't meant to be a single anyway.
The Death Of You And Me continues to impress though - was worried after time the effect of the tune would fade away like the Beady Eye songs after a few weeks, but I love it more than when it came out.

Boring is the word and that was my first impression during the first listenning... I dont have a rip on my ipod... no need of this shit...

Stop saying this is genius because NG singing on this. I believe that yours was the first on the thread to imply that anyone thought it was genius.

I think it's a good song. Each time I hear it I like it a little more. But the song doesn't really call my name. I gave it 8/10 and I'm gonna stick with it. It's a great b-side and a decent song. I wish people would stop treating the song like a sweaty tahitian whore.

I thought it was alright at first but I have no real desire to listen to it again. Solid enough b-side.

i gave it a 6/10 to begin with and I'll stick by that rating but I've come to terms with it being a decent tune because I think I was expecting something a little better but I'm so happy that its just a b-side and it fits its role well with being just a "good tune". Also it is nice to hear it finally after all these years.

I still like it, but it isn't growing on me - unlike TDOYAM, which gets better with every single listen.

Always liked it. Still like it. Still needs a proper BHN-esqe guitar solo 2/3rds in, though. Reminds me of Step Out, barring the guitar solo and developed chorus.

I do like the song better now after hearing it a few times. However, it's still not great and I'm expecting much better from the CD when it comes out. Which still isnt' for another 2 months!!!!!!

Yeah of course, at that day it was for me 6/10 but now it is 6.1/10. About my thoughts really. At first listen I thought it was 'meh,' and now I think it's slightly better than 'meh.'

If you give a 8 on this song... How much for On Way Road, Masterplan, Idler's Dream, Going Nowhere............ Sad Song.... A 1000 / 10 ?
Seriously... Its a bad B-Side... and I'am sure this kind of song are gonna be lost on your ipod when the album will be released.
For me : a solid 5... Only

When it first came out, I was thinking 6.0. Now I would give it between a 6.5-7.0. There is no way I can go higher than a 7.
I liked it a bit when it first came out. I still only like it a bit. It's good for what it is, and that's being a b-side. I'm still kind of happy that this wasn't an amazing song (I know that some aren't, and wished that it would at least be a really good song). The reason being, I'm getting tired of having the "this should have been on the album" discussion. And I know that that argument will still probably come up as successive releases come out. But I'm happy that it won't come up with this b-side.
I hope that Noel chose his 10 best songs for this album. Not his 7 or 8 best. I want to have an album that won't be a "if he had put this on, this album would be so much better" conversation. Could the b-sides be better, of course they can. But I don't want them to be too good. Which is basically the point that I'm trying to make. So for the purpose that I want this b-side to fulfill, it's perfect. A perfect 7/10.
