Pretty sure those are correct. Only thing that isn't quite clear is the "Well every man will pass..." line, but it makes sense like that. Good job!

I like the first 3 lines of each of the verses. They're pretty great!

Pretty sure those are correct. Only thing that isn't quite clear is the "Well every man will pass..." line, but it makes sense like that. Good job! Yeah, that line and this: "Rebel let them help themselves and wash the truth away". Will wait for people who are better at deciphering mumbled lyrics before feeling 100% about these. Once we've come to a consensus on the lyrics, I will post the guitar chords [they're quite simple by the way]!

I like the first 3 lines of each of the verses. They're pretty great! Agreed. Noel's lyrics always add something to his songs (unlike, say, Liam's lyrics) and those are no exception. I mean, the chorus is extremely simple...and yet the lyrics are pretty great altogether.

Cool on the lyrics. . .I'm uploading an instrumental / backing track version of the song to YouTube and was having trouble figuring out the lyrics for the description. Well done

I like the verses. The chorus' serve a purpose, but it's too repetitive. But that again, weren't the chorus' repetitive on the likes of SBM and DYKWM, etc? (I am NOT putting TGR up with those, mind, just making an observation about the main complaint of the song....)
But the verses once again show Noel has a knack of writing a few very good stand alone lines that stand out amongst the others

I'm pretty sure in the third sunshine-line he sings "I don't care for YOU sunshine". But the rest seems to be correct. Thanks!

Yes, it's definitely "pour". Agreed! You all have great ears, thanks for the help! Edited first post again. The funny thing is, when my chords for The Good Rebel finally make it onto ultimate-guitar.com (48hrs to process or more), it will have 7 edits listed under comments as I've had to go back and make changes every time a new word was found or I heard a different chord than I originally thought before. But hey, it's better to be meticulous than haphazardly throw up incorrect lyrics/chords! Keep checking the Facts and Fiction section for a link to the chords
