If these riots postpone the start of the premiership season this weekend, I'm going to be one pissed off little man.
Also - I haven't been following it - but are they really protesting unnecessary police violence with unnecessary violence of their own? How does any of this make sense?

The riots have spread to Manchester. Now if they can just burn down Old Trafford that would be fantastic...
No but in all seriousness, I hope these twats get their comeuppance. Seeing families in London distraught because of this hooliganism is devastating to see. No motive to it at all - disgusting.

The underclass scum then hijacked it and used it as an excuse to loot and cause as much devastation as possible. The police are totally outnumbered and powerless and so it has spread across the country. Never seen anything like it before. It's completely mental. She was basically validating what these idiots are doing. Didn't hear it, but I did see some ugly scratter woman saying they were doing it to "Get their taxes back" when Sky News asked them why. The irony being that they won't have worked a day in their lives and will have contributed nothing.  I live/work within walking distance of this - www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-14475597 - which sums up the backwardness of Washington - if you're going to do it, don't attack a building full of police with nothing worth looting and nowhere to escape.  Its actually on the grounds of a shopping centre, although to be honest they'd probably be doing everyone a favour if they burned that down. |
