Rugby is a beautiful, brutal game a bit like watching chess on grass. It has 15 players one each side who run up and down trying to catch an egg-shaped ball, playing 40 minutes each way. It's what real men play when they can't get enough padding to play American football ! There is also no "offence" or "defence" so these lumbering giants have to be quite fit and fast, rather than the testosterone-filled, steroid-pumped American footy players  |
