I figure that BDI are pretty much done for singles.
In which case we've heard all the b-sides from this album now.
Which is you favorite?
Mine is WOMR by a country mile.

Likewise. Its one that I think should have gone on the album, but I dont knwo where it would have fit best.
SOTS is a good one too, a strong cover and closer. ITBWAB is next best: starts off very well, has lots of potential but sadly just doesnt know what to do with itself. MOM would be next cos its got a great groove to it, even if it is a very simple song. Last would be TOAK, which is just borderline acceptable as a released track, but live it is certainly a lot better. I hope to hear it when I see them in November.

WOMR followed closely by ITBWAB, then Man of Misery. The other two are ok, but not favs.
I love how different in style WOMR is. It's so calm and mellow and sounds like you're literally sitting a room with someone singing to you.

it's gotta be ITBWAB, that's probably their best song to date.
aloha!

It has to be"In the Bubble with a Bullet". I really feel like it was a mistake including this song as a B-Side. It really should've either been placed on this album or the next one. The only place it's lacking is around the "we can do what we want" part. Still a solid and great song

TOAK sheerly for my mysterious love of simpler songs. Others are great but other than WOMR I can see why they're b-sides.

I'm not one to usually be moved by lyrics, or find myself relating to lyrics. But "Mindless conversation, There's nothing just quite like, first thing in the morning, of what we did last night". Being the age I am, I agree with that, loving the discussions we have about the night before.

If I was to rank them I'd go:
Sons of the Stage Man of Misery World Outside My Room In The Bubble... Two of a Kind
I quite like them all though.

I can't pick... It's out of SOTS, TOAK and MOM... I think I'll get rid of TOAK, it doesn't quite pack the punch the other two do... And I suppose I'll get rid of MOM because it wasn't so much of a B-Side for me as it wan't new when the single came out... Sons of the Stage

The only timeless song from the b-sides is World Outside My room and its a shame that isnt on DGSS because it would have helped a lot with the quality rollercoaster that is the album.

I voted Man of Misery, it carries the same kind of punch as Cigarettes and Alcohol.

World Outsite My Room because it was the first tune we heard that was totally different from anything we'd ever heard from them before. And it still is an amazing little tune. I really like In The Bubble With A Bullet as well! And yeah, TOAK is great live! Amazing B-sides if you think about it!

Sons of the Stage.
I loved the build up to that song. Mega. Probably was improved to my ears because I always heard it right before Standing on the Edge of the Noise for a while, which made it seem amazing.
First time I actually felt pressured to listen to Beady Eye, I thought that Bring the Light (grower) and other songs were shit, and they weren't worth looking up.
Shame its just a cover..
