the only question here is, why did you bring up stadiums into the conversation? we were talking about arenas you crazy stubborn man. lol Because you said that he could fill arenas. I said that he couldn't fill stadiums, nor large arenas. And then you kept insisting that arenas are somehow much easier to fill than stadiums, because stadiums are associated with being bigger. Whether it's an indoor arena, or an outdoor stadium; both having the capacity of say 9,000. He couldn't fill them just playing Oasis song. At least , not consistently. And Noel admitted to that. That's why stadiums were brought up. Because in terms of capacity, the terms are interchangeable. So whether I say stadium or arena, it doesn't matter. Capacity is what matters, not the name. You think that capacity equates to a name, when it doesn't. The capacity is just it, the capacity. And when you use the term arena, or stadium it doesn't matter. Either way, there is a certain capacity that Noel probably can't fill whether the name on the building has a arena or a stadium on it. Whether I bring up the name stadium or not, it doesn't matter. In UK terms they aren't interchangeable though as: a) he can't play stadiums between August - May, mainly because of the football season, but also because of the weather b) The MEN is the largest arena in the UK and one of the largest in Europe with a capacity of 21,000. There are few (none off the top of my head) stadiums in the UK with a capacity of under 30,000 that would be deemed suitable for use as they wouldn't have the facilities to house gigs. Totally agree that he wouldn't fill either, but it seems a pointless argument either way.

So what do we think we're looking at in terms of ticket rush? It can't possibly be worse than the TCT one.

I'm one of the fastest typing Oasis fans in the West - I got tix for the 2004 show in Poole (2000 capacity venue!!) but I'm having a nightmare - will be working tomorrow with no web access.
Many beers to anyone who is generous enough to offer me a spare ticket to the London date :-)
