Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds have confirmed their debut live shows will take place in Ireland and the UK in October. As previously announced by Noel at his recent press conference the first ever Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds gig will take place in Dublin at the city's Olympia Theatre on 23rd October. The concert will mark Noel's first live performance since his two headlining slots at London's Royal Albert Hall for last year's Teenage Cancer Trusts shows. The gigs will also be Noel's first ever live set with the High Flying Birds. The first string of gigs are: Dublin, Olympia Theatre - 23rd October Edinburgh, Usher Hall - 27th October London, HMV Hammersmith Apollo - 29th October Tickets go on sale Friday 5th August at 9am through www.noelgallagher.com and usual outlets. More gigs in the UK and elsewhere will be announced soon. To be the first to hear news about forthcoming releases and gigs sign up to Noel's mailing list HERE! only 3 seems a pity!!!

Makes sense, as bonkers says. 1 gig per country.
He's gonna be in the US for the November 8th album drop apparently.

One gig per country? That would suck...

you would think that with all the anticipation, he'd have just come out with a full tour calendar but i guess this is the way Noel wants it.
i know BDI and Noel have the same management company so could someone refresh my memory and tell me what were the initial BDI concert dates ?
i just don't understand why he's not going playing arenas, the dude is playing the (oasis)classics.
If Beady Eye were playing RnR Star, Live Forever, WW, and CS, they'd be selling out arenas, i can almost guarantee it.

Obviously for the mini promo tour.
If be didn't do a live Manchester gig I would be shocked.

One gig per country? That would suck... That would be a disaster...I'm dying to see Noel live, but I can't afford to travel across the country for one gig... Let's hope he plays a real long tour in 2012...although I would love to see him before he starts playing the AA tunes ;D (if he does)

Kentish town is a smaller venue I think so if you want the "intimate" performance, go for that one!
