Cool post. I've always known Oasis/Noel uses those words quite frequently, but it's good to have ratio on it haha. Well done.

To be honest using them words in most of his songs, does not bother me at all. In fact I love it. But hey good job

Yeah I must admit I chuckled a little when I heard TDOYAM for the first time and he'd managed to get a sunshine and soul in there. I think he does it on purpose now, just for laughs like.

Abit like Liam using 'song' or 'singing' in most of his tunes He's done it about once, you plum... Once? "here's a song, it reminds me of..." "here's a song, sing along " "I'm singing this song for you and your mum" Songbird: "Singing songs of love to pass the time. Gonna write a song so she can see"

"here's a song, sing along " "I'm singing this song for you and your mum" Songbird: "Singing songs of love to pass the time. Gonna write a song so she can see" Note I said 'about' which means there could be more than song where he said it, you plum...

BTW, you forgot "Sing a song - soldier on" Note: I know you're a troll, but I do find your stupidity amusing from time to time.

Talking of stupidty, he actually hasn't used "song" or "Singing" in 5-7 of his tunes as you proclaim..... He's used it in 1, 2 or maybe 3 of his songs. Which means "about once"

I'm not a troll! And, Liam hasn't done it for years, so it shows that his songwriting maturity has developed! I'll stick up for you here and say that Liam has matured in his song writing (a bit)... He's writing a bit more sophisticated songs than Songbird... But your point doesn't really show it... And neither does Beatles and Stones... Jut thought I'd point that out. Noel still uses "stars", "shine", etc... Doesn't mean he's not matured... I mean, loo at the difference between Live Forever and TDOYAM... It's more "grown up"... Live Forever was pretty much a lad rock song... In fact, almost the whole of DM is about booze, drugs, sex, etc... But Noel's newest songs are a lot more sophisticated... but he still uses the same sort of words... He just has a magical way of twisting lyrics to work in his favour

His BDI lyrics are better (even if they're still rather simple at times, see BTL).
