Basically less than a week into Noel's solo career, three weeks if you include the press conference, he has already managed to accumulate more followers than Beady Eye.
Noel has 46K followers
Beady Eye have 43K
And for Beady Eye that is after 2 promo single, 3 proper singles, an album and all the promotion of the above.
Noel has done 1 press conference, 2 interviews, and released 1 single.
Funny thing is that Liam has 280K followers on twitter...pity he doesn't do more with it than post SHITBAG and the occasional "thanks to the fans @ X gig" comments

When Pretty Green 1st started he tweeted all the time, such a shame he stopped. Noel will never tweet though  |

When has anything remotely interesting ever happened on the Beady Eye page?
Noel's one was releasing song lyrics, photos, artwork etc. all last week.

Fingers crossed they keep that up. They have more than enough stuff to tease. There is going to be SOMETHING coming down the pipes in the Noel camp constantly for probably over the next year.
I hope they don't get lazy about it. Twitter takes very little effort but it's such awesome promo.

If Noel had decided to go on twitter when Liam and actually use it he probably would have had comparable numbers to Liam twitter. BDI's and Noel's were started for the purpose of the promotion of their new ventures The LG twitter hasn't been used in the promotion of BDI. It IS an indication of how far both of their profiles have fallen since Oasis though. |

People are going to follow Noel because it's his "personal" twitter (ie it uses his name), purely because they follow celebrities. If it was "high flying birds" twitter then fair enough but Noel will use that for all his ventures. The fair comparison will be Liams twitter vs Noels twitter when they're both established and Noels Album has been released, you cant compare BDI vs Noel because Noel has the "celebrity" aspect to his account that makes the comparison grossly unfair. |

Noel Gallagher doesn't control it. That is the major draw of celebrity twitters.
People aren't following it because they are interested in Noel Gallaghers pithy thoughts.

Operating under assumption that twitter users can't read you are right.
There is no getting around Noel being a solo artist. He may call himself NGHFB...but he isn't a band.
It's not his fault that he can be known by a single name.
LG IS a celebrity twitter NG's only LOOKS superficially like a celebrity twitter. Anyone that reads the tweets or looks at the bio wouldn't think it was.
