A friend of mine called Eduardo Brouks was listening carefully that (17 minutes) jam played during the soundcheck in Honk Kong and identified some lines with “playing a simple game of genius”.
Pay attention at 1:40, 2:48 and 7:30 for example.
Even I think it sounds similar to that snippet surfaces as a background in “The Death of You and Me” trailer…

Already mentioned. Cleary it is ASGOG. Can't wait to hear the studio version. ASGOG Hint: Read the thread title ;D Good find, he definitely sings "simple game of genius" and it sounds pretty awesome. I wouldn't expect the sound to be like that on the finished song, however, it's too close to Oasis and this version is probably a very early, unfinished one.

Surely the final version will be alot shorter? Hope not though I think if it's a hidden track, can be 15, 18 minutes long. That would be great indeed ;D

I can't help but to think how amazing Liam's voice would sound over this this is true. If this is truly ASGOG then it'll be one of the ones on Noel's new album where people will wonder/wish what Liam would have sounded like singing on it. Still with the melody that it has now, I wonder if Liam could really belt it out like Noel is doing on the sound check.

well. it's already annoying to discuss what a song will be if liam oder noel would sing it. in fact liam can't hit the most songs anymore live. and on dgss they pulled his voice to much through the audiocue. he sounded like a man without balls

The songs sounds like it could be on a Crazy Horse album. Turn it to 11 Noel!

Did anyone else notice that the piano part hidden in the background is playing the melody to 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' from 4:21-4:53 or so?
I really hope I wasn't the only one who noticed that...

Wow. Great observation. I think you're right here. Although is Noel really going to continue his trend of throwing away good songs? This jam has so much potential.

Oasis fans would wouldn't know what to do with without the never-ending yammering about track-listings.
If Noel didn't make an obvious track-listing error the board would self destruct.

Although is Noel really going to continue his trend of throwing away good songs? This jam has so much potential. Not sure if you've been paying attention, but we've concluded that this jam is "A Simple Game Of Genius", the iTunes bonus track. So he isn't throwing away the song, just not including it on the "album proper".

The only explanation I can think of for putting this AWESOME jam as a bonus track instead of on the actual album is because it's still 25 minutes long. Actually, this is one song I wouldn't mind seeing what an Amorphous Androgynous production would be like.

Which is the definition of throw away songs.....Or do you really consider the likes of Rockin Chair, Acquiesce, Whatever, etc not thrown away?

How was Whatever thrown away? It was a single.
And virtually every Oasis fan who knows more than 3 songs from them has heard Acquiesce at some point or another.
ASGOG in its current form, while very epic, is hardly a song that can be put out as a single or anything.
