How many b-sides are expecting before his tour though? He may play the good rebel for all we know and any b-sides on his next single. I'll be more than happy with oasis songs making up the majority of the set, especially if he brings out the more obscure tracks. which he did at the RAH gigs to be fair

Noel will have released a minimum of 12 songs before the tour begins. The 10 album tracks, The Good Rebel and A Simple Game of Genius.

Thats why i think it could be possible he'll be rehearsing or at the very least thinking about what he will play. Like when Oasis released DOYS they couldn't get TT or BIU sounding right live, i think some songs on his solo album may suffer the same fate.

Jut recieved another text, she works at the adidas headquarters and The Zutons came in for some free stuff. I thought she just worked in your average adidas shop!

He's certainly going to play some covers. 10 NG + 5 Oasis + 4 covers (something like that).
He could play : - Don't dream it's over (we all know he likes this song) - Like a rolling stone (he already played it during a soundcheck) - There is a light ... - a song of Neil Young

Why would a band with no label be getting free stuff? And why is Russell Pritchard after joining the HFBs if The Zutons are still active and apparently currently recording an album? Perhaps they want to be on the Sour Mash label and are hoping to get into it arse ways.

Play Noel tunes, and Oasis ones mixed in with covers from numerous artists. Why doesnt Noel just go and play cruise ships or become a cover artist.

Don't get me wrong I'd actually like to hear Noel do 'Like A Rolling Stone' or another Neil Young song besides Hey Hey My My. Maybe Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere. I think he'd be awesome at that one.

I'd love to see noel do a few covers, nothing wrong with that in my opinion. Especially if he did Out on the Weekend by niel young, or anything by niel young for that matter. His cover of hey hey, my my was really good i thought.

I can see it's not going to be believed by anyone other than me! In regards to them getting free stuff, Noel is well known to love adidas and has appeared in ad campaigns before. Maybe he pulled a few strings and got them some gear. Unlikely, but maybe.

He already played several covers during a set. 4 is certainly a little bit exaggerated.

This is nonsense. The story is ridiculous and far fetched, and the OP made sure he could not be proved wrong by: 1. Listing a few songs that we all know will be played, like DLBIA and 2. Postulating that a few songs could be removed, so if MWC, for example, isn't played on the tour he can cite this as a reason. Can't believe some on here are so gullible.

I couldn't care less if i'm believed, honestly, i was just passing on information. I'm not trying to force it onto people as a truth and take glory from the fact my friend stumbled across a possible noel gallagher set list. As someone said before it would be ridiculous to sign onto this forum to start a rumour that DLBIA will be played last and it'll be 19 songs long. Regarding me 'postulating that a few songs could be removed' That is just my opinion that some songs could be removed or will be removed (i'm hoping it is longer if anything). A 19 song set list on a tour promoting an album that has 10 songs on it seems a little excessive. I suppose we'll have to wait and see.

I think it is safe to say this is the most press The Zutons have gotten since 2004.

Who comes up with a set list 3 months in advance? Maybe pop acts with an elaborate stage show. But surely not someone who is essentially a singer/songwriter? I don't know. But I would think he can rehearse all the new material with his band without actually coming up with a full setlist until he knows what's working and what isn't.

As someone said before it would be ridiculous to sign onto this forum to start a rumour... Yes, it would be ridiculous, and yet it happens all the muthafuckin time. You can spice it up all you want with your responses, trying to come off reasonable and believable, but this is one of the worst rumors i've seen yet. I wouldn't be surprised if Noel hadn't even started rehearsing yet. And I fail to see why the Zutons manager would be carrying around Noel's setlist when only one of the members is involved. And who carries folders around? He'd have everything in a briefcase or bag...the list goes on and on of how far fetched this massive pile of turdspeak is. The weather must be really shit where you are.
