I've been a long term lurker on this forum for well over 3 years. I've had several accounts over that time but always manage to forget my password or username and never become an established member! However, I've taken the time to create an account (about 2 minutes) just to pass on some info regarding noels set list.
Basically my friend works at adidas and the zutons came in looking for gifts to buy, their manager happened to leave a folder behind containing a few pieces of information. One envelope was labelled 'noels setlist'. She text me as soon as she saw it (knowing i'm an Oasis fanatic). I tried my best to pursuade her to steal it but she was told by the powers that be to hand it back to the manager straight away.
she did however manage to have a sneak peak before she handed the folder back and she was a 100% on these songs being included...
Everybody Is On The Run Dream On If I Had a Gun Married With Children Don't Look Back In Anger - also the last song on the set
She also said that there's a total of 19 songs on the set... i'm still in conversation with her at the moment trying to get more information, because let's be honest... the songs she confirmed i think everyone expected anyway! But it is interesting it's a 19 song set, to me that sounds quite a lot so maybe it was a rehersal set list with the possibilty of some songs being removed later?
I know too well how this forum reacts to news coming from brand new members so let the enquiry begin!

Apparently right, apparently, Noel was in Amsterdam the other day in a recording studio where my friend works. He went to the toilet and when he left the studio my friend went in, and there was a pube on the toilet seat which he now keeps in a matchbox.

The information i'm passing on is hardly ground breaking guys, its just a few minor details about noel's potential setlist? I suppose I do have a reason to believe this as it did come from a person I know and trust, so i can't argue with your doubt of the story behind it.

I don't see how The Zutons manager would have the setlist. I'm sure Noel hasn't even begun thinking about a setlist. I don't see why The Zutons and their manager would be shopping for gifts together. I don't see anything. Oh shit, I'M BLIND!!!!!

I'm sure noel will be thinking about a setlist now, he'll need to work out which songs work well live and what not? if aka.. what a life is supposed to be a dance track then i'm sure he'd need time to work out how to pull it off live.
as for why the zutons and their manager were shopping together, god only knows!

19 Songs would be about 80 minutes or there abouts. He will need to play for at least that long on a solo tour I reckon. But I guessed this eh!

The Zutons are a fully functional band, a shit one it has to be said, but they are still together. Currently writing their 4th ... they were playing gigs as recently as september last year

Yeah i guess you're right, the only thing i'm sceptical about is that 19 songs would mean the set would consist of half new album material and half old oasis. That is if he even plays every song from his new album which i don't think will happen? I just assumed Noel would put more emphasis on his new material rather than old oasis

Noel just dropped off a pizza at my house! Imagine my surprise when he was all "that'll be $18.50".
He gave me a copy of the album! It's fucking amazing! I just don't have a cd drive in my computer so i can't share it with you guys. Sorry!
New album >>> part of a setlist
I win.

Noel will have to play a ton of Oasis songs since he only has 10 songs to pull from off the album. I don't mind 10 or 11 Oasis songs in his set. I'd love it actually. Over time less and less Oasis songs will survive as his solo catalogue grows. Until then let's all enjoy a nice balance of Oasis and solo Noel. Should make for a great time this winter.
