I loved the demo from the moment I heard it and I think it is still the song on the new album I'm looking forward to hearing most (along with EOTR). Such an epic song, but I think it should've been the last track on the album.

Based on the versions we have of RM and STC, I would rate RM as being far superior in every aspect. Melody, vocals, lyrics, instrumentation and overall mix of the RM demo pisses all over the STC demo. Structurally, RM has a better chorus than STC, plus that epic bridge.

I think the effect used on Noel's voice in the verses of RM are amazing almost gospel esque, and yeah its a fuckin amazing song i was over the moon when i saw it on the tracklisting along with EOTR

Liked the demo better than the STC demo. Really looking forward to this.
EOTR was the one I was looking forward to the least. But after hearing those strings...I'm intrigued.

I preferred EOTR soundcheck over IIHAG from the start. But obviously the choir and strings version of EOTR has me even more excited to hear it on the album.

I love this song, especially the "Can't give me a reason" part, but I would kind of appreciate Noel rewriting the "everyone inside my mouth" line. He's a self-described lazy bastard, so probably not, but has had 5 or 6 six years to do it....

I hope he plays RM live, but I suspect it may be one of the 3-4 new songs that don't make the setlist for the tour.

This used to be the song I was most looking forward to, based on all the demos and soundcheck stuff we heard so far...but because the guitar solo has supposedly been removed from the song, and because of where the track was placed on the album, I have lowered my expectations quite a bit.
On the other hand, Stop the Clocks has supposedly gotten much, much better since we last heard it in demo form, so I'm more excited to hear that now.

It sounds like a glorified version of just getting older. The outro is good though

Put me in the "meh" pile I suppose. Never understood what the fuss was over this tune. Both it and Stop the Clocks are snoozers for me. Maybe the hype around them makes me expect more.
Now "If I Had a Gun" is another story. Can't wait for that one...

Oh I know it's him, but I've just never seen a Muppet that angry. Looks as if he's about to rape Ernie.
