People underestimate the influence that Noel has. There's hundreds of thousands of teenagers that are diehard Oasis fans but only discovered them around the DOYS period. To their generation Liam is more a style icon than a musician and it is Noel's music that they idolise. This somewhat describes me due to becoming huge fan 2005-2009, I see both as musicians and really have no preference between the two, but I can see where your coming from with most fans my age that do just see Liam as the knob head rather than a musician. Shame really.

Wow. I am actually shocked by this. Noel is doing quite well for only having 3 days out. Amazing!
Compare to BDI:
The Roller = 2.8 million BTL = 1.5 million (8 months out) FLW=1.5 million (7 months out) Millionaire = 200,000 TBGO= 100,000 (1 month out)
I'd say the Chief is doing very well comparatively.

I caught them 12/20/08 in Fairfax, VA...according to what I've seen that was the last leg of their North American tour.

The "08" tripped me up.

The "08" tripped me up. It's all good! I could've been a bit clearer. Noel was amazing on that entire tour. Even though Liam was clearly not the same singer that he was at the beginning of Oasis' reign, it came out of the speakers sounding amazing that night.

everyone who talked crap about him and how stupid this song is can suck it.
It's a great song, I'm fond of it now. At first glance it was so different I just didn't know what to think. It's great though
and rollingstone are terrible

I forgot to say, lets keep this in perspective.
It is only youtube and not sales or anything. I just don't want people to take this beyond what it is...
I mean so far he's dominating video views over BDI and most other music videos since Monday... but we'll see where it charts.
I'm thinking it will chart top 20 in the UK... maybe higher I hope?

Levelling off now I think. Maybe 2 weeks is more realistic.

He's doing well, though. Once this song starts playing on more radio stations I think he'll push up to 5 million or so.

Levelling off now I think. Maybe 2 weeks is more realistic. Yeah it is. Will be interesting to see how the numbers are tomorrow, at what seems to be the peak time for youtube. Still though, an amazing accomplishment for Noel.

Knock on effect. It's been good for Mile Kane
Miles Kanes Rearrange video has seen a sharp upturn with a rise of almost 150K since Noel's video came online and was put in the Instant Classic section with it.
That's great for Miles!

Levelled off this time yesterday. Prime time for youtube views seems to be around 2-8 EST-obviously coincides with evening in UK and Europe.
