Am I right in suggesting that Noel didn't seem to enjoy working with the AA? I've just read his interview in Mojo and his comments are quite interesting (there's a thread on here somewhere) to say the least. I like the AA but i'm not too sure if Noel will want to continue with them haha.

He appreciates their music, that much is for sure. And that's all that matters at the end of the day.
On the contrary, he actually seems content that they're steering him away from his comfort zone. From everything I've heard (mainly from Jamie), Noel really likes the result of the AA produced album.
Now whether anyone else on the planet will like it is a completely different story.

It's nice to hear of someone keeping Noel on the back foot actually. LOL

Much like McCartney when he said working with Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich - who gave him absolutely no room and was brutally honest - which although tough, was exactly what was needed. Who else says no to Paul McCartney?!

Yeah I picked up on that too.
"There was a healthy disrespect for my songwriting"
Obviously he's semi-joking, but it could be a good thing creatively.
