Didn't really like it on my first listen (I focus more on the melodies with my first listens), but the lyrics are excellent. I really like it.

What a chorus and what a song.
Like someone else said; it is no exaggeration to call this the best song released by anyone in years.

i liked it.
whenever i really like a song right away i generally grow to love it.

Perhaps taking the piss about all the people on here acting like it's the best song of all time and frothing at the mouth? It's a great song and one that I can't stop playing but it is obviously not the best song of the last five years. As someone else said Falling Down is probably better. But then again no one got it when I threatened to kill someone for listening to Coldplay either. |

Love the sound of it already, reminds me a bit of 'The Importance Of Being Idle', got the same kinda vibe to it.
Got a good feeling about this new album already, like he's had the songs and idea for it in the back of his mind for quite a while, gonna blow everything else away.
Gonna be such a shame cause I know as soon as it comes out everyones gonna be comparing it to Beady Eye. Think they're gonna really have to work long and hard to make album no.2 match Noels...

it's just classic Noel fucking Gallagher. His melodies are second to none I mean who even thinks of these melodies? They just soar above the chords. This is what i wanted from Noel. It's a bit odd, its kinda groovin, kinda western, kinda jazzy, and that chorus pop stomp A soaring melody. It's sgt pepper mixed with Magical Mystery Tour but its so Noel. Its similar to TIOBI but its got its own twist. It's better than anything Beady Eye has put out. A summer day dream. Horrible. |

Exactly. The better Noels album will be, it will be a kick up the arse for BDI. A quality Noel album and a quality BDI second album and everyones a winner TDOYAM is highly addictive and imo better than the importance of being idol. |
