personnally i really DIG 'high horse lady' & have done since i got the cd on release!
it IS an obvious Rip-off = HI-Heel sneakers ......
but i dont think its FILLER - it suits the album, no its not wonderwall but then nothing on that album is !
I like the drums & the general vibe , the emptiness - it reminds me of the acoustic setting-sun from 98 & actually it works well acoustic & i would have liked noel to have done it at least once !
its not earth shattering but i like it & i also really like 'falling down' for the same reasons as cited above !!!
i wish he'd have done that at the albert hall instead of whatever, not like he couldnt remember the chords
(wonderwall yet again - man hes gotten some mileage out of those chords)
'being idle' is a classic & not many later tunes match it!
'Record machine' wouldnt have fit DOYS - it sounds more BHN than DOYS !
lastly, i for one dont think noel was EVER holding back tunes for a solo carear - they just didnt get used for 1 reason or another !
