Sorry, but I haven't read anything official about this, is Noel's single RELEASED on Monday? Or is it just airplay? P.S. I know Mark Stent (producer of SOTSOG) and he says both brothers are absolute gentlemens to work with and that was the toughest record he's ever made (he's produced Spice Girls, U2, Madonna, the list goes on) and he said he really did appreciate both brothers' support (as well as Alan's) to make it work because he thought his career was about to tank during those sessions. No Doubt's new record is on the cards but thats not the point: Let's stop with the taking sides shit...Oasis was about (in Noel's words) the voice (Liam), the songs (Noel) and the music. If one of those things became sour the band would end. They did (fuck knows which one) and we now have Liam rockin' with Beady Eye, love the record, doing what he did in Oasis basically but starting from scratch, and Noel experimenting and going a bit more extravagant, something he obviously has wanted to do for a long long time and can now do. We have a Beady Eye album, 2 Noel Gallagher albums, and another Beady Eye album on the way before Christmas next year. Why on earth is anyone interested about the brothers' feuding? The music is so far great (Beady Eye) and will probably get better (NG + Beady Eye's new material). I for one am happy Oasis ended. Sorry, rant over. BTW, for those really interested, that voice in the Gas Panic guitar solo is Mike asking for a "bit more bass" i asked! Thanks.

And it was LIAM's idea for the weird mellotron effect in Go Let It Out during the outro. And he also didn't want Little James on SOTSOG, was hugely embarrassed by his first attempt at writing but Noel really insisted!

But wait for it.....Fuckin' In The Bushes was originally a "song" as in had lyrics! But was quickly scrapped! I know this shouldn't be in the NG forum but oh well.

I really want to see what those lyrics were/hear the original. Too bad it probably doesn't exist anymore! Airplay Monday, released on 21 August.

its just the airplay and I doubt you're a dimwit Stent did a wonderful job with SOTSOG easily my favorite produced Oasis album. I wished they worked with him a bit more. You can tell its labored but in truth its a good labored effort. Everything sounds clear and right where they wanted it sound wise. It wasn't like Owen Morris turning everything up to 11 (even though that production did work for a period) Just a few songs weren't up to par.

SOTSOG if far and away the most underrated Oasis album. Kill PYMWYMI and LJ, add LAMB and CUA and it's a classic in my book.

I know, this guy drinks and lives next to door to the pub i work at, and people were always like "hi spike" and all this shit and then i was like what's his real name? Mark Stent!!! I nearly shat in my pants, I had the album in my car at the time! And i just couldn't stop asking about Noel and Oasis. But yeah he's gone to America now to do the new No Doubt album so won't be back for a while (don't tell NME about that!) but yeah when he mentioned "Noel played me a version of Fuckin' In The Bushes with lyrics, i only heard it once though" I nearly glassed him with annoyance that he didn't rip to CD or something. But yeah, Mike Stent is a top lad and it is a shame he isn't producing his solo album as i do think (and i thought this before i brown-nosed Spike) that SOTSOG is the most well-produced album by Oasis. Bar PYMWYMI. I asked Spike about that aswell and he just shook his head and said "don't ask". Ha ha, wonder about the story there....
Edit: when i said Noel played him a version of FITB i meant on a demo CD, not on guitar

oooh fuckin in the bushes was a song !!!! I would die to hear it, well not die letteraly but come one that riff would have made a great rocker song I know!!! When he said "Oh he only played it once to me" so nonchalantly I was like "WHAT THE FUCK!!! I know a forum where many people would literally exchange their penis for a catheter to hear that! Oh and who the fuck is this Matt that you keep banging on about? Matt Bellamy? I literally hate you." That was the basic structure to our conversations (in my head).
