Of the finished product, I must say it's bloody good! The death of you and me has the same rhythm as TIOBI with that sound in it. (you know kasabian's Fire) but then it's got brass in it too from it not sounding too much like oasis. I'd say it was a safe first single. Stop the clocks is a lot brighter and punchier, almost dreamy at times. Definitely the best of the tracks I heard so far. What are the names of the other two tracks you heard? What did you think of those? Cheers! |

just seems a bit strange how nothing has been said about the 2 other tracks, however everything we already knew about DOYAM is mentioned and STC.....
im pretty sure if i heard 4 new songs from that album id be bouncing about and saying "ive heard this, this, this and this today" i maybe wrong, just seems very strange nothing is mentioned about all 4 tracks and when asked directly has clearly dodged the question - whats the betting the other 2 songs are IIHAG & RM..

bull2k, oneexcitedyoungman has proven to be reliable in the past, and I don't think this bit of info is worth the risk of destroying his reputation. I mean, we're going to hear TDOYAM on Monday, so why should he lie to us?
Still, @op, what were the other two songs and how would you rate them? Overall sound, good melodies?

sounds intriguing. Let's just hope you're not right about STC being one of the best tracks. I mean, i know Noel must have changed that song a great deal from what we all listened to in the past but still.
i can't wait to listen to this first single. I like TIOBI, it's a very good song, great some might say but it's nowhere near Oasis' best.
Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Ah shit! I forgot my stopwatch!?!?! If a pal says to me listen to this n let me know what you think the last thing on my mind is remembering how long the songs are. I only asked the question because i know the album version is longer than the already online versions, to see if you are reliable. Other people says you are so no problem here. |

been on twitter all day waiting for either that 4 song promo to drop somewhere or these lyrics that have been promised......
i dont buy he's heard it - sorry, whatever he has done to earn credability in the past then fair enough but i very much doubt if he or anyone on here had heard it they'd be able to not post a lyric, or a small review or at the very least the songs he's heard!!
