I don't think there will be an orchestra because there's no mention of an orchestra, though I could imagine Wired Strings on it.

Shame if there won't be an orchestra, cause I have to say I kinda think it makes the chorus sound "HUUUGE"... It's like he's screaming for some strings! Well, Wired Strings are on the album so I wouldn't bet against them popping up on this tune, and I wouldn't bet against Crouch End Choir popping up either. I can imagine a hushed choir in the backround of the tune. The potential of If I Had A Gun is massive - I don't think it will disappoint. Again, well done on the home made track. |

This is awesome.
In fact, just this remix is so much better than most songs I hear. This song has serious potential to be a life-changer, and your take on it expounds that potential.

The progression to If I Had A Gun is classic Noel, classic Oasis. |

I really do believe though, that If I Had A Gun could turn out to be the best Noel song since Don't Go Away. Noel hasn't made a truly great melody in my mind, since DGA. And if the lyrics are going to be at least somewhat decent, then this could really be a return to form for Noel. It certainly has the most potential of any Noel track in recent memory. It really has a great great melody.

Nice job! This is awesome. I was very pleasantly surprised when some vocals started coming in. I'll take a thousand of these threads over the typical lead-up of fake lyrics and "is this a new Noel demo? (nope its some shit band no one cares about)" So much potential in this song. this is really good. I'm really looking forward to this tune it really could be up there in terms of classic. I'm talking like DLBIA/the masterplan classic (yes I went there) it could be Noel's most beautiful song.

Amazing, man! Goosebumps when the chorus kicks in! Makes me love the song even more. This song has potential to be one of his best. Hope it turns out great on the album.
