:/ But that press release did say that the AA album is due for next summer.

I think it means something like "News upon Day 208." Dies could mean "day" as well, although my Latin is rusty. But I don't see anything in there that implies a plural usage.

i agree, it is somebody at BB records (which will be the parent company of beady eye records / sour mash) or ignition mgt, maybe emma greengrass probably just a member of their marketing team.
They know this is the biggest fan forum and is a 'thank you' for being fans, letting us get little bits of info early and as magicpie1980 said raises anticipation among the people who care the most.

After checking around Beady Eye's site, it seems like their management announces singles about 2.5 weeks before they are set to release.
If we take theriddler to mean that 7/27 will be an announcement of the first HFB single, that would put us at about an August 15 release, which would be a Monday. Also about 2 months before the album drops, so about a week earlier relative to release than FLW was for Beady Eye's debut. A little different, but not so much so that it seems unlikely.
This would be a pretty logical timeline I think. Noel's in NME on Wednesday, would be announcing a single a week later and probably having airplay of it between then and its release in August.

there's nothing wrong with letting a single drop 2-3 months before a album comes out.
it give the fans something to listen to, and the band can tell where the demand is... it's kinda like a scout or something.
I do believe the news is either one of these 2 things.
It's 208 days from the day of the press... which would put the next album in the spring of 2012...
I think its more likely to be 208 days from the start of 2011, which makes it in a couple weeks.
I think it could be a new single, or a full on tour date list.
It might even be august 2nd or 2/08 which would be the single release i think.
I think we're either getting a single... or full tour dates

dya think there will be 2 promotional singles from noel like the way beady eye has done it & a free cd in the newspaper too? i hope so.I think it'll be a similar kinda thing,well i hope so anyway.
