I believe this song is "dream on", that's my guess. "I god gives me grace, then he will find me a space, and I hope ill be singing this song....don't stop being happy..... Luv this tunes potential. |

Yeah, I've also heard that this song is "Don't Be Down" which he wrote to Anais and promised that it would never see the light of the day... and it really makes sense the lyrics being for his daughter...

Hed be the biggest fuckin idiot if he left this off the album. This has "top of the charts" written all over it. I hope he was smart enough to include it. I would. It topples "if I had a gun",STC,RM, everybodys on the run. Etc in my opinion.

I'm happy enough that If I Had A Gun is on it. I think it's the best tune out of the bunch.
Would like to see that 'God Help Us All' also, but I dont think it will be on it.

Its a good song but i hope its not on the album. If it is that would mean we'd of already heard half the songs on there and if the first single isnt one of the 5 we've heard then that only leaves 4 completely new songs when the album gets released which is a bit depressing after waiting forever for Noels album. Especially if the AKA tracks are instrumentals as speculated.
Btw I know STC/RM ect are likely to be revamped a bit but hearing them wont be the same as hearing a brand new song for the first time.

It's weird, we know at least 6-7 great songs he has up his sleeve, plus probably many more he hasn't released yet. And still his album is only 10 songs. Well, if it's good, I won't care, and if he has b-sides like this...

Seems like Noel changed his mind about letting anyone to hear it in the future.
I personally don't think that Hong Kong soundsheck song is Don't Be Down. For one he's playing it to a semi public place. He wouldn't do that if it was meant to be very private. Second that soundcheck is from 7/4/09 almost 6.5 years later since he wrote it. OR maybe it is Don't Be Down and he's playing it cause Anais isn't a 'baby girl' anymore...fuck if i know. Only time will tell.
