What a show! Beady eye are the real deal dont need the old songs as this was a rock and roll show up to Par with anybody out there. Saw them live at ed sullivan theatre but this was like sein the old band at roseland or radio city. That kind of energy. Crowd was killer especially the lovely women on the balcony signaling for weed in the white skirts and the drunks jumping up and down with us (sorry if i blocked anyones view but u shuld have been with us)

Yeah, that was a fantastic gig. I was really impressed with how well "Bring The Light" went down...Thought the floor might collapse.

Yeah, I was standing next to three extremely enthusiastic pogo-ers. Ordinarily having someone repeatedly land on my toes would bother me but they were having such a good time... I really felt like Gem has stepped up his game a bit. He has much more of a presence than he used to and he really seems to be enjoying himself up there. Anyone else see Pinfield there hanging over the balcony?

I was there too, on the floor to the left side of the stage - great show, grabbed a couple of videos and some pictures of the stage as well.
I saw the Canadian flag! I also saw a couple of people hold up a flag that I think said "The Beat Goes On" while the band played the song, and Liam clapped for it.
I thought the show was great, I really didn't know what to expect. I have seen Oasis many times and I have watched the live clips of Beady Eye and while they sound good, there is no comparison to actually being there.
Gem indeed seems to be a much larger presence now which I thought was cool. He also looked like he was wearing some Pretty Green. He got a lot of reactions from the crowd for his solos, and I think he was really enjoying himself.
Liam sounded good, his voice is definitely starting to get hoarse from the tour but I thought he did a great job. He still really strains his vocal chords though.
Bring the Light and Man of Misery were both HUGE.

Present last night with my sis...Stood on the risers to the left of the stage and had an awesome view. Liam was spectacular! His voice hasn't sounded this good in years! Took a few pix during & after the gig...Will upload soon.

Interesting gig. I think the band are technically sound, but I don't feel the songs are there and I felt that was made more apparent live. I had a great time with my friends though and Liam is definitely sounding better than he did near the end of Oasis. I just can't take the music seriously. Fun times though.

I think album #2 will help quite a bit with the flow of the setlists...With one record under their belt they're kind of forced to play everything, even songs not meant for live performance. Compared to Oasis, where the first record was written and recorded based on songs that had been honed in live performance for 2 1/2 years, that's a key point.

Thanks to all the new and familiar faces that stopped by the bar before the show to say hello. Saw a ton of you while in the photo pit as well. Big shout out to Webster Hall for giving our Live4ever staff a vip area in the balcony ( right side hovering over Gem ) Great night in all, really more impressive live than a youtube video could ever be.

Haven't posted in a long time but I figure I'll throw my 2 cents in.
Great show, band is sounding good and Liam's voice is light years ahead of where it was in 08 when I saw Oasis at MSG. Really had a great time all night, such a good venue to see one of your favorite bands.
Side note: I was told I was "too loud" last night. How the hell is that possible at a show??

great show. i was in the front to the right, in front of gem. liam nodded to me when he saw my pretty green shirt, but couldn't get to him for autographs after the show. my buddy and i almost fought this giant glee-looking douche in glasses and a vest in the front. good thing his daddy was there to stop him from getting his ass whooped. it was a pleasure to meet you last night, paul. I was right near you between Liam and Gem on the bar:) My husband almost fought that guy too, what a jack ass...

i was at the show too. 2nd row right in right between Liam and Jeff. Was sooo close to the stage it was amazing! The crowd up front was insane, and the band sounded great. To me Liams voice sounded great, and the band was very tight. Very Very high energy. Even got a setlist at the end of the show. Such a great night.

Side note: I was told I was "too loud" last night. How the hell is that possible at a show?? Sometimes happen at a gig I get some guy with massive voice hanging on my shoulder shouting all the lyrics so loudly I can't hear the lead singer. What's worse is that people singing that loudly actually feel like they're damaging my ear, whereas normal gig sound levels never do. The sound sort of breaks in the ear. So while I'm all for having great time and singalongs at gig, my limit goes where I can't hear the lead singer properly anymore and/or someone is singing 2-3 inches from my ear. It's a shame so many people take great offense when I point this out to them mid gig:|

I was at the show with my wife, upstairs right beind the sound guy. I was at the Chicago show too and both were pretty good. I agree though some of the songs are a little slow for live performances (Beat Goes On & Live 4 a Dream come to mind). But What R u gonna do when they only have one album. All in all the shows were great. Highlight was when Liam walked right by me, by the bar upsatirs during "THE DIG" set. He is a short fella...
I also have to admit that some songs sound 100 times better live(Bring the Light and Wigwam). Cant wait for Philly tomorrow Night at the TLA. It think TLA is the biggest of all the 4 shows. Great to see NYC give the boys much love. I've seen Oasis well over 30x and this show definitely ranked up there w/ them!!!

^ So, you met up with NL4E in the gig? nah, i'm with l4e on this one. he's one of the last people to be a dick threatening people, throwing his hand in the air like a white guy at a hardcore rap show. l4e wouldn't be the one waving a t-shirt hitting everybody around him. that's what the argument started about, actually. he was hitting my friend and everyone in his vicinity with a shirt he was waving around. when he politely told the douche to stop, he started cursing my buddy out, threatening to punch him, etc. now, this is about the time i should tell you that my friend works out every day and is pretty ripped. (that fact was hidden by the work outfit he was in.) needless to say, he wasn't very intimidated by the douche, but with two other people ready to have his back (not to mention the other fans around him he was pissing off throughout the show), he was going to be outmatched. his dad, who by my estimates looked in his 60s, actually put his hand on his spoiled brat and said, and i quote, "stop being an asshole." the idiot lost his glasses during his encore. i hope someone stepped on them, the little fuck. almost ruined my favorite beady eye song, "kill for a dream." and jenny, you probably heard my friends and i yelling "weller! weller!" at the roadie who looked like the modfather.

Bahaha! My husband and I were laughing at that since at V-Fest I actually thought that was Weller walking around at first :-p Great show, was second row right in front of Gem. Partied hard, Beady sounded great! The sound was a lot better than in Toronto as in T.O. there seemed to be some feedback which I didn't hear at Webster. Got some great pics and some video, although the sound quality of the videos on my camera is always crap despite it being a great point & shoot. Fave song of the night may have been Sons of the Stage - amazing energy from the crowd on that one. I wanted to pogo but nobody around me was having it. Great meeting a few of you at the Penny Farthing - NYR I believe, right? And great seeing you again Paul. Any of the rest of you out front of Webster on the barricade meet Liam after the show? I asked him to please sign my poster which he did very kindly. I'm sure he was very tired so it was really nice that he stopped for a couple mins to sign & take pics. PS How jerky were the venue security? They kept kicking us further and further away. I get that they have to unload, but when I am standing on the sidewalk across the street, your jurisdiction ends. Sorry. This one guy was really picking on us - two totally sober people just standing there - while an entire group of fans is left alone near the barricade. Luckily I just said screw it and ran up beside NYR. Good thing I did! I always try and respect the security but these guys were idiots. I have pics and a whole wonderful story from when Jenny (who I will always love for taking me to Letterman!) and I saw the Ed Sullivan performance and got pics with Liam afterward. I will do a big huge blog post on my website in the near future and will post up a link
