Bluemagpie, are you going to their acoustic set at the MFA? I'm embarrassed to say this is the first I've heard of it! Do you know if you can still get tickets? I'd definitely blow off class to go.

You had to rsvp via the MFA's facebook page, not sure if they're allowing walk ins but you should ask! I might have a plus 1, depends on what my friend says.

Looks like the facebook promotion page is closed...I called their ticketing line and they didn't know anything about it. I'll try the museum box office in the morning when it's open. If you end up with a spare I'd be glad to take it I've actually got an extra ticket for the gig cos my friend can't make it, got any use for it?

I might, are you selling it for face value? Yeah, comes to about $30. I don't know anyone that wants the spare ticket, but I still have that +1 for the MFA show if you're interested!

I`ve been to the Amsterdam gig. earlier this month. had a great trip-this and that. After seeing them in a tiny under-1000-capacity venue in Bochum (2009) and in a bigger venue in Cologne last year, I have to say: KASABIAN is boss. EntertainingRocknDroneFlagship. A big fuckin mashine. The whole set was rockin`- we stood 10 meters away from the stage, centre- and by the time vlad the impaler came on, there was a MASSIVE mosh pit. Everyone jumped, pumped by to the crackin bass sounds. Wonderful. Smashing into eachother. Girls with terror in their eyes. It has to be said that I`m not into nonsense like that but it was big fun. Throughout "Fire" EVERYBODY started to suqat and when the beat came back, EVERYBODY jumped up and got wild. wonderful 2. Sergio is a beast. The lights and the soundeffects are very good. Missed a good, mood- of- the- song- fitting- light-show at Noels Gig..Really supporting the songs. SwitchbladeSmile was insane. All the people had a great time. mass sing alongs. beer through the air. the band really enjoyed the gig. They didn`t play Take Aim or LaFeeVerte which were highlights in Cologne but they did Me Plus One and B-side Pistols at dawn. Great. New Kings. Seeing Oasis at Gloria, Cologne in 2008 (400 people crowd) was mindblowing aswell. The sad fucker NoelyG. sometimes transformes into, said he didn`t like that gig, although the crowd an the band was rocking. Strange..

I'm going to see Kasabian this friday in Edmonton. Pretty stoked on it, they will definitely bring the class (even tho it's going to be an underattended show, I feel).
Anyway, my question, I haven't been paying attention to their last couple of shows, what are the setlists like?

After thinking about it a lot, I'm pretty disappointed with Kasabian's Boston gig. They were good, but the crowd was horrible and the band seemed distant. Maybe they've been playing arenas for too long? Looked like they were having a good time, but it just left me kind of wanting more from the performance. Doesn't help that I hated the venue they played at, I suppose.

Would be very very nice if someone had the download of the CD from Kasabian Live! in Brighton (28/11) or at O2 Arena (14/12). "Concert Live" released this in CD but only O2 Arena is available to buy and the price is very expensive. I only find some tracks on YouTube.
