I'll be there on the 15th - it'll be my first time seeing them as of course they didn't tour the US last time, so I'm very excited! I've got a spare ticket too, so if anyone wants to buy it for below what I paid let me know ;D

Thanks mimmi ;D - I'm also seeing them again in March when I'm back home. It's been an excellent year for gigs! Gutted I missed Miles last night but my god Kasabian!! That was the best gig I have ever been to. Place was bouncing, song after song. What a strong set list. Every song of Velociraptor sounded even better live but fuck me that encore. Switchblade smiles was really good then my god Vlad the Impaler and Fire you didn't want it to end.
Amazing gig, great specticle and to be honest it topped Oasis for me.
Serge is one cool cool guy!

LSF onwards - I have never experienced an atmosphere like it in my life. Fair to say I could hardly stand by the end of the set, my legs were gone! You should have seen Miles mate, fucking top. He played 9 songs and Serge joined him to play 'Come Closer' to close his set. Would definitely go to see one of his solo gigs, missed out on the ABC Glasgow gig in October. |

I'm not much of a mosher, but I'll happily sing like a lunatic  The House of Blues is like 2500 capacity, do you really think that's too big? I'm genuinely asking - I mean, there's colleges all around there, I'd think they could get a pretty decent crowd from them alone. |

Got there at 3, my mates turned up past 6:30, but the security got us in early...
Got the barrier, directly in front of Jay...
Pengu!ns were pure noise. I put earplugs in...
Miles Kane was epic. Rang my sister so she could hear Inhaler...
Kasabian were mental. The crowd around us were so boring. Full of 50-ish year-old couples. They had a go at us for jumping (DON'T GO TO THE FRONT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DANCE! IF YOU WANT TO COMPLAIN AND JUST TAKE PICTURES, GO TO THE BACK OR THE SEATS!)
A few times, Tom came over. At one point, he came right over and pointed at me... Serge came over a fair few times, I got some eye contact and a scream. A few times, we sang Jay's name, he gave us a few waves and nods...
At the end, I got a full setlist. My mates both got half ones. One of them got Jay's pick...
I got a program and I'm getting a signed lithograph today...
ALSO!
I shared one of my best songs at a gig ever tonight.
During Thick As Thieves, me, and my mates all put our arms round each other's shoulders and sang our hearts out... Then Tom spotted us, smiled and then went over to Serge and grabbed him :')

Concert Live are only releasing the London gig now, I ordered the Liverpool one, gutted!, There are copies of Brighton and Cardiff around as people managed to get these before they were pulled.
