I'd agree with GDForver. For Noel it's not "disappearing". Noel isn't in a group anymore. He's a solo artist. Who is disappearing on? himself?

Another thing, how do we know Noel isn't done with his album? It's been assumed that he went to LA both times to touch up on his album. So there might not be any recordings to "skip" out on. Either way, he's a solo artist. For a solo artist there's almost no such thing as disappearing. Unless his management sets up studio time, and he comes up missing on that day.

He's not in a group anymore. So there's no one to skip out on. If Liam had been a solo artist and had taken time out of studio for his marriage, no one would have said anything other than "congratulations." But he was in a group and left without telling anyone. Not to say that Liam was wrong for it. I still believe that people make too much on that. Instead of putting some blame on Noel for not scheduling some more studio time. But that's a separate issue....
