Just a simple, yes or no question My answer is no. I don't want them to reunite in the 5st five years or someting, cause I'm enjoying Beady Eye way to much at the moment and by the time we get Noel's solo album who knows how much time has passed allready And I would like more than 1 Noel solo album so, that will definitely take more then 5 years... And in let's say 7 years from now, Noel will be 51 and Liam will be 46. Can you imagine them on stage singing those Oasis songs? It will never be as good as it onces was. So no thank you, no Oasis reunion for me. I'll watch 'There & Then' when I get nostalic

Yes and No.
Absolutely No for now. The lads have just started to "walk" on their own way and I actually think that that's what they needed most when things happened in August 2009.
But I'll be honest, deep in my heart I still hope they'll be back ever. I have respect that Liam, Gem and Andy that they don't carry the name "Oasis" cos to me no Noel Gallagher = no Oasis.

not for another proper album and tour, let it be.
but... with that said i would love to see a couple of special one-off greatest hits gigs happen sometime down the road. but only if liam and noel have patched things up.

I hope they never do. Then their legacy than grow considerably like the Beatles, and their music will be appreciated more.

I cant say I know every band in al of usical history
but for what its worth
there has never been a 'great' reunion tour/album
Oasis legacy would have been astronomical finishing in 1996/97 and im glad its ended in 2009
shouldnt Oasis be about being young and free..
it was becoming run of the mill anyway
* this from a fan who never saw them live

For now, I want BDI and Noel to release a few great albums which is probably the best for all of them. But it's just sad I never got to see them live...and the fact that we'll never hear Liam sing Supersonic or Live Forever again is a little depressing too. I don't think age will be a problem there, though. The Stones are still playing live, many other great old bands do as well. I don't think Liam or Noel will grow tired of music anytime soon. Oh, and if there's a reunion, I want Guigsy, Whitey and Bonehead to play...the 1995-1997 crew. They were the best.

I say no because I think they ended the whole Oasis thing with a pretty great album and that the band split up just overnight, with a fight. That was the right thing. I don't want them to do a big "Goodbye tour". I think that's pretty lame. But maybe I change my mind in a few years, who knows.

Yes.
Oasis were magical. There was something about Noel and Liam combined made them special, and no matter how good there separate projects are, they will never come close to what Oasis meant to people.

Also, I can't imagine Noel in his 50s and Liam approaching that age, either.
Again, Oasis always embodied youth - from their songs right down to their attitude and partying. I hate seeing them age, and once they both reach their 40s and 50s, it really will be the end of Oasis (even if they do reunite, which I don't think they will) in the truest sense.

No. I think they should leave it.
Hope Noel and Liam make up...but I think Oasis had their day. They ended off on a good album and I think they are going slightly different ways musically. They stopped enhancing each other and started holding each other back...

No.
The only I say yes, is because I have a loose definition of reunite. I wouldn't mind them getting back together and doing a couple of shows, but nothing more than that.

No. We get more music this way, and Liam is happier. I hope they do make up, but not reform Oasis, except maybe for a one-off tour. Besides, it wont happen within the next 5 years and after that itll be into rolling stones territory and will just desecrate their legacy

There was something about Noel and Liam combined made them special, and no matter how good there separate projects are, they will never come close to what Oasis meant to people. I see a lot of very convicing and legitatimate arguments for 'NO' but this here is a huge one for 'YES'. For that reason, I'm siding with YES. But after BDI have done 2 albums and Noel's got his one out and they're on good terms and its a positive experience - with them all having something ot bring to the table, not just the way it was in the last years. And not a huge tour, just a few gigs, maybe for TCT. And an album. You watch, they'll play the same setlist they did throughout the summer gigs of the DOYs tour.

No.
For now I want to see what BE is capable of and to following Noel solo carrer. However in the future they may should comeback and make a world tour with their biggest songs, but reunite later for an new album is not a good idea, I don't think it could work, they don't have the mojo anymore for this.

Oasis reform? Only if Liam was somehow, magically, able to recapture his 94-00 vocals. Otherwise there is no way in hell I would ever want them to reform. Honestly, what would be the point?

Of course I want! Beady Eye are good, but not near the level of Oasis.

What would be the point? Right now Liam, Gem, Andy and Chris has an album outside and doing fine with it and the tour, Noel is working on his solo debut and whenever he releases the album that would be the last nail in the coffin of oasis(or atleast for the next 10 years, when they can pull a soda stereo ).

No preserve the memory and the image. They will never nail them tunes like they did and nobody wants a reunion gig to see Bag It Up or Mucky Fingers do they. The environment would just not be right.
If the question however was a couple of monster outdoor gigs with the band getting along and sounding like they did in their heyday then that would probably be irresistible. To me Oasis are and will always the most important rock'n'roll band ever, nobody else will influence me in ways that they have.

I like many feel that it shouldn't happen any time soon becasue Beady Eye are doing great and i am really enjoying them and their success has made me want a Noel album that much more.
All of this aside the thought of those songs never being played live and being blasted out to thousands of adoring fans again just doesn't seem right. Its a difficult one really but for the moment its a no.

i'd have to say no, or at least a not yet.
i'd rather them blow off their steam and reform when they want to. bad blood can produce some uninspired music, terrible gigs and just a bad atmosphere altogether.
in the meanwhile, they get to write and play what they want to write and play. plus, no complaints here about having twice as much music.

No. One of my pet hates is clapped-out old rock stars, croaking and wheezing onstage, trying to rekindle the lost spark of youth. Noel and Liam are not exactly spring chickens today, and even in 10years time or whatever, their bulging bank accounts will not make them appear young again, due to the limits of medical science: they will still look their advancing age. Best they can hope for is to dye their hair and don the cool shades to hide the crow's feet, etc.
Whether this is any 'cooler' than 70s pop-pundits the Rubettes appearing at a chicken-in-the-basket pub lunch in 2011, is open to question: it's just the same thing, on a bigger scale.
Much depends on the popular outcome of Noel's solo work: it's possible he could become a post-modern Sinatra for the 21st Century, and will have no need of an Oasis reunion.
However, if Beady Eye hit the skids and become second-division players, Noel could agree to appear in say, a six-month stadium tour of a future Oasis reunion, in order to bail out Liam financially...it would of course depend on the financial terms offered up to Noel. These would have to be generous, to put it mildly.
Noel will not come to the table unless his fee runs into the multimillions. So any fans wishing to see the group on a future tour have plenty of time to start saving, as stadium entry costs will be astronomical in the 2020s or whenever.
Noel can expect a King's Ransom as regarding any future Oasis reunion, and not a penny less. He alone is in the position to dictate terms on this score.
Liam will probably be in a lesser position to negotiate. Whether the resultant reunion tour could be considered as 'proper' Rock and Roll and not an embarassing parody is open to interpretation, however.
