Kasabian sucks. Sorry guys. The first album, Empire and West Ryder... are far away better than any Oasis album after the 90's era in my opinion..... So could you shut off and stop talking for everybody. I know a lot of Kasabian fans on this board. Dont forget to put "for me" or "in my opinion" when you make this kind of statements. Thank If someone posts it, it is there opinion by virtue of the fact that they posted it. Get that stick out of your ass and don't make everyone play your stupid fricking PC game. If it makes you happy just pretend everyone ends every sentence with "in my opinion" because that is essentially what every post is. If you want people the pussy foot around and be sensitive to your love of Kasabian...join a Kasabian forum. Thank you! |

I simply was stating that I was excited for the Noel and Kasabian albums this year, and someone had to come in and put oil in the fire.

I have to say i liked West Ryder.. when it came out but after a couple months it became stale. Their songs are very samey and their albums lack substance. Good band with bombs of energy with some good songs but not one of their songs are perfect.
If you pretend Oasis didn't exist before 2000 and just take their music post 2000 into consideration, they still piss all over Kasabian.

Kasabian are alright. They have the attitude and sound, but they are really lacking lyrically. I feel no emotional connection with their music. Whereas with the likes of most bands I like, Oasis included, I have that ability to relate to what I'm listening to. And I do agree that their third album has gone stale a bit - although I do like Underdog.
Would still love to see them live regardless, though. They seem - based on the youtube videos I've seen - like they can put on a top performance.
