Come on, it's not that bad musically, but definitely suffers from those pseudo-Harrison existential lyrics. Gem's not Morrissey.

I think you are think To Be Where There's Life Both songs are cringe worthy attempts at desperately trying to sound like The Beatles. Noel's efforts towards the end of Oasis were the least Beatles like of them all.

I actually think TNOR is Andy's best Oasis track. The rest of his tracks are just "I'm going to write a song that sounds like Oasis". At least TNOR isn't derivative Oasis drivel like Keep The Dream Alive or something.....christ I really dislike that track.

who cares? the bsides are awesome... it makes actually buying the singles fun and worth it.
besides they believe in quality over quanity. that is why they put 10-12 songs on a album. They could do 14-16 songs per album...
a album is a collection of songs, and Oasis had many great albums...
bsides are just those songs that they didn't think we quite good enough to get on there..
but we still get them.. who cares, it's all good

Millionaire, while a thousand times better than the utter shit TNOR, doesn't fit the vibe of DOYS. It would stick out so badly. Millionaire would be better on an album like DBTT, instead..... Why was it necessary to have at least 1 song by every member on the last 3 Oasis albums? I would rather have Wigwam on DOYS than TNOR, and it fits the album perfectly or the morning son. buuuuuuut, i think with noel in the studio of DGSS we wouldn't have wigwam and the morning son on the same album because they are both closers. both seem to appropriately 'finish' the album, though only one actually does!!
