its amazing how many other people you can see in the crowd videoing it as well i find that really odd. it's almost like, 'i'll record it now, make sure i don't move around too much so the video looks good and i'll enjoy the song later". whatever, i find humans social behavior hiliarious. I can understand why people video tape it - as long as it's not on a poor quality camera phone (what's the point at all, then?) But I never take pictures or videos at gigs. Gigs, to me, are about being in the moment, and nothing else matters.

It's good for showing to friends later or listening/watching some of the songs back years later and reliving all of the excitement from that day.

wtf did they throw at liam's head ? Was a nearly full (plastic) pint glass..missed Liam and smacked straight into Chris' bass drum. You can see Liam shaking his head at it, then cleaning up the spill with a towel dragged around by his foot

Maybe all his "I'm not gonna rehearse too much or soundcheck because I need to save my voice" idea was as misguided as his "I prefer to put my voice on the album last" idea. For someone who has been singing professionally he seems to have surprisingly little idea what works for his voice. Maybe what he SHOULD have been doing with Oasis is working the hell out of his voice to get in ready for the gigs...like he has been doing with BDI. As a professional yourself maybe you should send him a letter or something. I'm sorry...what did you disagree with?

That's why my videos are always so shaky and crap picturewise - I can't keep still:P I've the camera usually near the barrier, not holding it up near my face. But the sound quality of my camera is good so I often record just for the sound.
As for photos, I actually enjoy taking them. Sometimes I take more, sometimes less but it's not just "trying to capture the moment for later use" but just the simple thing of taking a photo, as weird as it sounds. There's some photos I've taken that I'm forever glad I did take them, though. Usually it's some certain special moment(doh) like that one of Gem+Liam I posted. It just captures how happy they were and makes me happy whenever I look at it now after the gig.

Just to add, there should be a complete video bootleg coming up shortly. The gentleman next to me was filming the whole thing and passed on contact details to me; soon as I hear anything, I'll share here + my camera did well this evening, pics to follow An example of the (hopefully whole) video bootleg to come: For Anyone -

An example of the (hopefully whole) video bootleg to come: For Anyone - Great quality video, but Liam's really struggling on that song now. I can't see it lasting much longer.

I think it sounds fine, he is singing it and holding the notes....sure he is singing a bit full on for an acoustic style number......but considering he has had a cold and was coughing through the show that is a pretty good version

He should sing some songs (for anyone, kill for a dream) on a stool, like the 1994 mtv whatever and live forever versions...the ''rockstar'' thing isn't right for some songs...
