Last week of World Cup, quarterfinals in next two days Serbia - Argentina We (Argentina) are fucked, ha. Glad we qualified for Tokyo 2020 though! Teodosic was our starting point guard and leader since 2009 but he is injured and is not playing this year in WC. He is also old and lazy and drinking and smoking too much. But we thought that we will be fine because Vasa Micic had great season in Efes and lead his team to Euroleague final and became one of the best European point guards. But he was playing like shit thru whole preparation games and tournament. We found out why, his mother has passed yesterday and she was battling a serious disease for months and his thoughts were with here. Micic will stay with national team and play because that's what his mother wanted him to do. That situation affected us a lot and nobody knows if we will bounce back even stronger or... I don't wanna even say it. Our second problem is that we are not using Jokic enough and in the way that we should. He is officially best center of NBA and we he is playing mostly as a PF in Serbia. He is like point center in Nuggets and we could use him to ppay like that because we had problems with point guards but we are not doing that. I can only hope that we were hiding our games plans so far because many times before we played like shit in groups and elimination games were something else. Like in last WC. We bullied everyone with our height, Marjanovic is at 5, Jokic at 4 and Bjelica at 3...but that didn't work against Spain. Argentina is playing similar to Spain, mentality is similar also, Campazzo is better than any of our point guards, Vildoza and Laprovittola are dangerous too, Luis fucking Scola is still one bad motherfucker...Brussino, Delia, Deck Garino...very dangerous team. It's not 2002 or 2004 Argentina but still very good team and great basketball nation. USA and France will be great game. Big respect to Poland and Czech Republic, but I think that there is doubt that Spain and Australia will win. |

Wow. Never thought we could win this.
Serbia is a much stronger team but our boys stepped up big time. Campazzo, Garino, Deck, Scola (39 years-old and still going at it like a beast!)
So proud of them!
Don't know why Jokic didnt play that much in the last quarter?!?
