Lonzo Ball about to take his talents to New Orleans. Possibly the most overrated player of the past 5 years to be drafted top 5... disgraceful that the Lakers took him.

His father just hyped the shit out of him. He can become a great oldschool pg like rondo imo. But lebron is 34. He needs to win now. AD and some shooters and they got at least a shot against GS.

In a league of shooting 3's, drafting a guard who can't shoot top 5 is ridiculous. That said, he is a solid point guard otherwise. I can see him having a solid career, but he's not a franchise changing player at all. As much as I'd love to see AD moved this year, I can't see any reason why New Orleans would do anything until the summer. They don't have too. And he is literally the only reason to watch them.

Thats true. But he knows that and demanded a trade anyway, so the only logical reason is that he sees a Chance to leave. And it surely added some pressure in New Orleans

so.. we could assume that the knicks have at least durants or kyries word for next season and make sense out of this trade OR that was an incredibly stupid move at this very moment

They have a load of money now, but when was the last time a star legit wanted to play in NYC? that franchise has been a dumpster fire for years. They couldn't keep their one star happy enough not to bail on them. I can't really see Durant wanting the challenge of NY. Hell, if he wanted a challenge then stay in OKC... clearly he's not THAT guy. And Kyrie is super flaky. If I was a betting man, then I'd take Dallas to go to the NBA Finals before NYC does.

I was doing some math. Cavs score against teams from WC this regular season: 15:15 (50%-50%). Against teams from EC: 35:17 (67.3% - 32.7%) So, if Cavs were part of Western Conference, and if they had to play 52 games against teams from WC, they would have 26 wins with that 50%-50% score. And against East, they would have 20-10 score. So, their final score would be 46-36, which is the same score that Nuggets had this year. And they were in 9th place. So, this season James is playing in WC and ofc that he will not even play playoff. I have huge respect for James and his career but him leading Cavs to Finals last season was just luck and coincidence. He is still great player but not that great he can take some shitty team and make them second best team in NBA.

Every morning before school i checked how Dallas has played, How many points Dirk had and when he had a great game i went on totally legal torrent sites and downloaded the game and watched it. I watched every game of the 2011 playoffs, which in germany was about 4am in the morning but it was totally worth it. His 2011 run was one of the best of all time. What an unbelieveable career and what and incredible human being. Thank you Dirk, im going to Miss you :*

Its funny how people in US think that basketball is only NBA. Dirk was living to play for his National team, he said that those standing ovation in Belgrade was best moment in his career.
Vlade Divac will be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame and people are saying that he is not good enough, that he only played once in NBA All Star game etc. But Divac has gold medals from FIBA World Cup in 1990 and 2002 (we defeated USA in quarterfinal), , three gold medals from Eurobasket (1989,1991 and 1995) and two silver medals from Olympic Games (1988 and 1996). People should see Doncic and Dragic crying after wining Eurobasket last year. Or Ginobil or Gasol or Parker...
I can´t wait for Fiba World Cup this year in China. Real basketball, emotions, tears, fighting, pride... I am doing everything I can to be in China in September.

Most Americans don't care about the international games, and, rarely do all the best American players play on the same team, year to year...... International players have got a lot better, though......like, almost half the top 20 NBA players are non-American, that's impressive..... The world game has came along way since around the time of 1992 U.S. Olympic "Dream Team"......speaking of, and I thought I'd never say it, I think a team of the best current players like LéBron, Giannís, Steph, Kawaíì and AD, would give the '92 team a run for their money.....and a full squad would probably beat them, with all the 3-point shooting. Хвала.

Funny thing is that we outside U.S. don´t think that we improved that much, especially we from former Yugoslavia region. Some might say that we are even worse. We just think that NBA is just more ready now to give a chance European players to show what they know. That Yugoslavian basketball team from late 80s and early 90s is still considered as best non American team ever, even better than potential 2019 Yugoslavian team. We still think that Dražen Petrović is best player from this region ever and we still remember how they wouldn´t let him play when he came to NBA. That best Yugoslavian National team was just starting when the war began. I know that it would sound funny to you but I´m sure that they could play competitive game against Dream Team in 1992 and 1996. They had that winning mentality, they won gold medals in Eurobasket 1989 and 1991, they won World Cup in 1990, they were ready to fight against everyone but country broke apart. Petrović, Kukoč, Divac, Djordjević, Danilović, Radja, Paspalj...then little later Bodiroga...
This year former Yugoslavia region had two All Star players - Jokić and Vučević. Dragić was an All Star last year, Dončić is future All Star, Nurkić, Bojan and Bogdan Bogdanović, Bjelica, Marjanović, Šarić...are all very good NBA players but almost everyone still think that generation from late 80s, early 90s was better and more talented. But now everybody knows Dončić but who knows Bodiroga?
