glad to see you're still here. Thx. Good thing you didn't say the same for your C's. Heat in a blow out tomorrow. best of luck. i'm very disappointed with the celtics, they were good enough this year to win a playoff series, and certainly good enough to beat the hawks. but to hear some fans talk around here, it's like they just won the NBA championship, and brad stevens is the second coming of red auerbach. it's unbelievable.

The Stevens love I see on the internet is out of control. He's a good young coach. He might even turn out to be a great coach but he does need to win a playoff series. I see people call him the second best coach in the league after Pop. I do think they overachieved though. They finished tied with the third best record in the east without having a true star. IT is a good young player but you can't win with him being your best player. I don't think they should have beat the Hawks. The Hawks are a veteran team that played really well in the second half of the season. Most young teams don't make it out of the first round. The 2012 Thunder were the last young team to make the finals but they had three players that turned into three of the best in the league now. Speaking of the Thunder. Wow did they get their asses kicked. Leonard and Aldridge were great. Was lucky enough to see Aldridge twice in person the last two years and he is such an underrated great player. Both times he was the best opposing player on the court.

(ironically many people were saying that miami would have been a better matchup for the celtics )... also agree on thomas, but man is he fun to watch, and i hope he's here for a long time. i really hope trader danny can somehow sign durant, that would be spectacular. looks like the kevin love ship has sailed. and i don't want any part of boogie cousins.

I'm sure if he was on my team I'd like him but I hate IT. Reminds me of a mini Jason Terry. I want to punch him in the face. Celtics Heat would have been interesting. They would have given the Heat trouble. Dont be too excited about free agency. The Celtics have zero history of luring free agents there. If the Cavs implode and somehow dont make the finals or they get completely destroyed in the finals, I wouldnt be surprised if Love is moved. Only problem is I dont think Lebron would want any of their young players.

Cast I hope that wasn't you in the purple shirt. Shit was surreal to watch. I've only been to one hornets game (in dec). We have a surprisingly decent crowd, especially since the re-brand. That dude was a trip, apparently he is a regular. Reddit had fun with the memes. He definitely waked up an already straight up destroyer of worlds in D-Wade. Damn he just looked like a legit Superstar out there, from the mid range, to the recovered block, shit mf hit TWO three's. props to Wade man, he really has had a superb year. I thought he was boarding on being washed up, but I think he has figured out how to transition his game. I definitely think he'll continue to be productive star for another 2 years. He's 34, maybe he'll age kinda like how Kobe was supposed to before the injuries piled up. We need someone besides Kemba to show up. Glad he's on our team, dude just has heart and is definitely one of top ten clutchest players of the past 10 years considering his college career. Williams has been a no show, Lin is a hot and cold/prone to turnovers, Jefferson can still give you 10-15 off of clever post work, but his main job should be getting Whiteside in foul trouble. Lee has shown up on D, but we just have a hard time finding and creating buckets outside of Kemba. Y'all will take this. We came out too flat at home, y'all have more overall talent and a legit superstar to turn to. I have faith, but I feel we missed our chance on Friday. Also - Holy shit... Spurs have come to play. OKC looked COMPLETELY outmatched. Yeah, the were hitting everything, but LA and KL have legit started to gel and its pretty damn scary.

Heat/Cavs is gonna be a joy to watch. Raps are kinda like the Clips of the East but less good. Never seem to get their shit together come playoff time or have bad breaks. Heat team is battle tested from Wade, to iso Joe, to Luol.
Loved the chaos of last nights game.

Heat played like garbage but damn the Raptors stink. The Heat shouldn't lose to that team.

The Heat will win this series, but D-Wade is still a pretentious tool. Show some respect you d-bag. His "I was doing my normal routine" argument is weak. Have fun getting reminded of how Miami was Lebron's team for 4 years when you get blasted in 4 games by Cleveland.

Have fun getting reminded of how Miami was Lebron's team for 4 years when you get blasted in 4 games by Cleveland. 1. Who the hell cares about national anthems? Why are we still playing them before basketball games? I'm sure when you go to a game and you are at the concession stand or the bathroom and the anthem starts you stop everything. Do you stand at home when they play them at every award ceremony during the olymics? Let's get angry about a meaningless song. 2. Are you a Cavs fan? Does it make you upset he gave the Heat his four best years? They went to four straight finals and won two. Would have won three but he no showed in 11 when Wade was the best player on the court for both teams. Wade ceded the team to Bron after that because LBJs ego couldn't take it. Unfortunately Wades knees exploded and was a shell of himself in the last Spurs series. 3. If they do get blasted by the Cavs oh well. The Cavs were a lottery team for four years after Lebron left and the Heat are two games from the ECF one season after he left. With their second best player missing a seasons worth of games to a life threatening condition.

Why do they still play anthems? It's a sign of respect and admiration for those who have fought for the freedoms that allow you to play a game for a living. The idea is to remember that we are all very fortunate to be able to do such things. When I attend sporting events I'm not usually at the concessions or toilet when the national anthem(s) are played, and I do show my respect for it by standing and removing my hat during it. As for the Olympics thing... does anyone still even watch the medal ceremonies? I'm not all that concerned about this situation in particular, I just think it is a pretty douchy thing to do is all. It's not that inconvenient to stop what you're doing for a 1.5 minute anthem. "...he no showed in 11 when Wade was the best player on the court for both teams." You're right, Lebron did no show, but clearly you mis-remember watching as Dirk lit up the Heat for the duration of the series.

He was the best player on the floor but that gets forgotten because of Lebrons choke job. Dirk 26 points 9.7 reb 2 assists .7 steals .7 blks 41% fg .537 true shooting % Wade 26.5 Pts. 7. reb. 5.2 ast. 1.5steal. 1.5 blks .546% fg .614 true shooting % and two less turnovers. I'm against forced nationalism. I respect the troops but playing the anthem before every game is meaningless. If it's so important why don't they show it on television before every game?

Yeah he's been real good in late situations all postseason. Hoping they can pull it off on Sunday. I'm not very optimistic about our chances against the Cavs if they advance without Whiteside, but this season's been a success either way. Not many people anticipated them being this competitive after that coward left especially with Bosh missing the end of two straight seasons and two rookies playing major minutes. Looking forward to the okc gotten state matchup. The warriors should win but I don't think it'll be easy. Kd and Westbrook are too good.

I don't think he would leave this offseason either way. It makes more sense to sign a deal like LeBron has the last two in Cleveland. A two year deal with a one year opt out. All the money goes up the following year. But I do agree, the better they do the more sense it makes to stay.

What needs to happen is the Thunder need to go back to Seattle and Durant should stay with the Thunder/Sonics. Oklahoma? What the fuck? Seattle's cool again with the Seahawks being relevant...
God bless.
