Amare is horrible on D. Might be the death of me. Lebron was great last night
Holy shit Russ and KD are incredible and Towns looks like the real deal.

Yeah Towns looks like he's set to win ROY,even though if I had to bet I'd put my money on Mudiay (would be a gamble, but I like the guy a lot)...the Wolves with Lavine,Wiggins,Towns,Bjelica,a healthy Rubio and also Dieng and Muhammad are gonna be a young exciting team to watch, they probably won't make the playoffs tho
Winslow also looks pretty good out there, from what I've read he played great D on Harden (not really the easiest guy to defend)...he has to improve on offense, but he seems like a really hard-working guy and he'll be fine...actually,I can see him following a similar path to Leonard
Finally caught a Spurs game yesterday,it was far from exciting (it was close till the end tho) but I saw some interesting things: -Parker's decline is starting to become evident,Green can't throw it into the ocean at the minute,West and Diaw can't play together 'cause if they do we get killed on the boards and Kawhi still needs to understand when it's time to pass and when it's time to put his teammates in rhythm and look for them
-On the other hand, the bench looks absolutely fantastic,Mills is making shots,Diaw looks way more aggressive than last season and Manu is just doing it all out there...basically he's being Manu The only thing that worries me is that the difference in team play and ball movement between when he's on the court and when he's not is too clear,so we might struggle when he's out or he's not playing well LMA's still looking to fit in and find his place, but he came thorugh in the 4th yesterday and he's doing all the little things...I knew he was a great rebounder, but I didn't expect his hustle, defense and passing abilities to be so good

Curry is fuckin insane. GS as a whole is just insane.
Shout to my fellow Belmont alum, and Golden State 15th man Ian Clark, who definitely had the best game of his NBA career last night with that perfect statline. 4/4 FG (1 three), 6/6 FT, 0 TOs and 0 fouls. He's definitely Belmont best player ever and its a great opportunity for him joining the best team in basketball.

14 of the Spurs 28 points in the 4th were by Ginobili, who went on a 9-0 run all by himself with 3.30 minutes left when the Spurs were up by 3...38 years old washed up player doing 38 years old washed up player things.

The Warriors are a special team. The Clippers typically choked, but these Warriors are reaching all time team peak status. CP3 came out blazing in the 1st, but GS just chopped away a 23 point lead. Blake and DeAndre disappeared in the 4th.

It's crazy to see Nash retiring after being basically useless for a few years,Paul Pierce looking completely washed up,Kobe struggling like never before and Garnett with an incredibly reduced role (rightly so,as the Towns-Bjelica frontcourt might be one of the most exciting in the league considering they're both rookies) and then you see Wade playing well,Vince Carter and Manu (whose averages per 36 are equal or even better than those he had in 2005) still being useful coming off the bench and Dirk and Tim still playing like top 10 PFs (even tho Timmy's more of a 5 this season)

End of an era. Gonna try and enjoy him gunning the Lakers these last 60 or so games out. Kids these days kinda shit on Kobe, but damn I was raised on that generation (TD, KG, AI, T-Mac, The Truth, etc) sad to see them go. Dude truly loves basketball like no other. I think MJ loved competition more than the game itself. Don't think there are many people who just purely love basketball as much as Kobe. A legend through and through despite all the shit on and off the court.

I as a 23 year old NBA fan don't remember a momment where Kobe wasn't in the NBA in the lakers(well bar the injuries), it will be extrange when the next season starts and he won't be announced in the starting 5 of the Lakers, it's a shame that he wants to continue but his body has said enough is enough. And he did it all with one team. Hope he finds a hobby that fills the time he will have after his retirement.

As a young kid who didn't get to see Kobe much during his prime as a Spurs fan I have to say I'm not too high on him as a character, but he's one of the all time greats (arguably the best of his generation, even if personally I'd take Timmy over him) and the ultimate competitor Also rivalries in sports add so much to the fun and for all this years he's kinda been the villain,so the day I won't see him on the court anymore, especially in a Spurs-Lakers game, will be a sad day

the east is so wacky this year. Gonna be interesting to see who gets in the playoffs. The balance of the nba is kinda outta wack, and then you just have GS murdering teams. I'm interested to see the GS/Pacers match up. Paul George is straight up balling.
