I have no problem with the Spurs going out after losing but I think it's funny how the media would have treated different players partying after a loss. If it was Tony Romo, A Rod, or last years Heat team people would say that they didn't care. You are 200% correct. I guess its a big market and huge star player thing. I mean as great as Duncan is, all time great best 4 ever probably but he has never really be a face for the league from a marketability standpoint. I love that this came out. Those dudes deserved a fun night out after a extremely tough series. Cool to see the most professional team in the NBA having some fun. Old dudes still know how to party. I would have loved to see how Kawhi was this next. Does he have an alternative loud mouth personality when he drinks?

Mike Conley has to be one of the most underrated players in the league, if not THE most underrated

Conely is a beast. I'd agree with that statement. A really good PG in the golden era of PG's. He's top 8-10 and at times plays like a top 5 PG, that's really impressive. He's probably the second best "traditional" PG next to Paul. Can pace the game with excellent tempo, can pick and choose when to score, knows when to hit his teammates, good defender. He has a great Tony Parker floater as well.
You have got to love memphis' grit with Z-Bo and Allen. Cool to see vets like Carter on there as well.
Looking forward to tonights games. Cav's are definitely feeling pressure to win this one, and so is Chicago in many ways considering their off court coach-roster/front office dream. Lebron should get his and probably get a triple double. Kyrie also has to get his and be at least decent on D. Will Iman score like he did in game 1? How do the Cavs guard the Pau-Rose pick and role? Gotta put Lebron on him. The Bulls are just a great team. Kinda of a blend of Golden State in Memphis.
Clippers and Rockets will be interesting. Rockets gotta win this one or else they are done. I think they pull it off with Harden and Howard showing up big.
That said happy 30th to Chris Paul and congrats to Curry getting MVP. Both of these dudes were raised in North Carolina, and are still casual residents and its great to see them represent my state. They are still rooted and connected back here. Watched both in college and they were great players then, but its becoming pretty clear that these two are two all time greats. Paul is the best PG of his generation and is probably a top 5-8 PG of all time. Curry is probably the best pure shooter, on and off the dribble/ball of all time, and he is one of the best ball handlers ever. An outstanding player maker and has to be one of the most entertaining players of all time.
Here's my favorite moment from Paul's college dayz lolol Still gets chippy now.

Mike Conley, former Ohio State Buckeye.
Conley, Daequan Cook and Greg Oden got to the NCAA Championship game as freshmen...can't imagine how many they would've won if they stuck around, and, of course, if Greg Oden didn't get hurt.
God bless,

God bless, Would love to see this past years Duke team play that Ohio State team. Conley vs Jones, Cook vs Winslow, and Oden vs Okafor would be epic. Its gotta be the headband. Vintage takeover game from Lebron. It was beautiful to watch him just attack the basket. A lot of bulls were no shows tonight, looking at Rose and Gasol. Watching this Clippers/Rockets game. griffin had 26 or something at half and just hasn't do anything in the second. Rockets have the lead now with 5:30 left.

good for Rose for hitting that shot. that was a big shot for his confidence going forward, not just in this playoffs but he's career. You can tell Kyrie is injured. He's gonna have have to man up, because if Lebron couldn't do it in 07-09 by himself he won't be able to in 2015.
How about Austin Rivers? Kid straight up balled last night. Really happy for him. He still makes 2-3 bonehead plays in a game but he's become a solid defender and streaky scorer. Still only 22, he has a place in the league. Won't be a star but he's in a good veteran locker room with guys like Paul, Crawford, Reddick, Jones, and Barnes. He'll learn a lot from those last 4 dude's about finding a role in the league.
Rockets are just losers. I know they are hurt and missing their edge with Beverly out but Howard and Smith will always be losers in my mind. Harden still hasn't really come up huge in any playoff series since he flamed out in the 2012 finals. Clippers are showing a lot of heart and Houston doesn't really have any with Patrick B out.

Any bankshot outside of 15ft. is complete luck and after he made it he looked like he invented the wheel or something. But, he had a good game, seems to be back to normal.
Gos bless.

Was watching the game with my Dad and we both we're like "Its going to the The Truth. It has to go to The Truth. OH SHIT THE TRUTH!!"
Wizards almost fumbled that one away, but Paul Pierce is an all time clutch player has to be in the top 5-7 of all time. Never afraid. I could watch him play his old man game and just drain shots in the playoffs for the next five years.
Golden State just couldn't hit shots today. Next game is huge for them. GS is a lot of fun to watch, especially when they are on, but this memphis group just a gritty charm to them. It'd be cool to see them push through after failing to do so the last 4-5 years.

Great shot by LeBron after another horrible shooting game. i cant remember any 10/30 games in the playoffs for the Heat. the Bulls blew that game. How do you let James free like that with 1.5 seconds left. Blatt is not an NBA head coach. He almost lost the game calling a time out he didnt have. https://vine.co/v/emDVlBtrJO2Edit: LeBron never had 30 fga in any playoff games for the Heat .

Why the fuck would James take the ball out. You seriously want JR/Iman or a hobbled Kyrie taking that? The timeout fumble could have been infamous ala Webber, who probably still hasn't gotten of it.
One of the best NBA weekends that I can ever remember watching.

Lebron james showed why he is the best player in the world last night. Kyrie also looked a lot better.
Didn't think that Gibson deserved to be ejected. Thought both of them deserved techs. Chicago just struggled offensively in the 2-3rd. Whenever Nikola Mirotic was in the Cavs just scored.
Feel bad for Monty Williams. He isn't a great coach but he's a solid young prospect with room to grow. He's exit interview was pure class and he made me even more of a fan. I think he'll get another gig, hopefully with a young group of guys. Of course the Stephen A Smith pulled some usual fuckery basically claiming that the NBA needs more black coaches, vaguely implying that some how Williams' race is relevant to his firing. Apparently there's just five or six black coaches, which isn't a lot but I don't see how this is a major issue. NBA coaches just get cycled out every 3-7 years its just how the business works. Fair or not. Guys like Brooks, Hollins and Karl all pretty good coaches got fired after decent seasons. Not many coaches get to stay in one place and coach in one city. There are a lot of promising and former black coaches that will get their shot in due Gentry, Lue, etc. Smith is just a fucking race baiter and does disgraceful reporting. The black community faces a lot of challenges, but NBA head coaching jobs isn't one of them.
Brooks and Monty have both had solid success and will get gigs later on. Right now Williams just isn't a great coach who could win you a chip. In New Orleans, you got a great young player and a solid roster. New Orleans is an attractive and fun city - they'll have plenty of candidates lined up for this job.
