so the All-Stars are wearing t-shirts... Weird. They are supposed to be like soccer jerseys. The NBA thinks they can sell more jerseys that way. All the teams that played on Christmas day had sleeved jerseys too. They are going for the peple that wont wear tanktops or wear tshirts underneath their jerseys.

I think they should leave the soccer jerseys to soccer... The players look awkward wearing them - the jerseys are too tight or something...maybe it's that most of the players are virtual giants, dunno. God bless.

I wonder if he came up with that off the top of his head. He definitely deserves to be on the fictional Mt Roushmore because he's the greatest winner in the history of team sports. I just don't think he's the greatest center ever. I hope in the future when time machines are real they gather up all the great players and have them play. It's the only way to compare eras.

God bless.

I think (hopefully) in a 20 year time frame we will look back on LeBron as the most complete (aka: best) basketball player.
LeBron also gets bonus points for being a better person than Jordan. I don't either of them first hand, (so this is a ridiculous statement of feeling) but I've heard Jordan is an asshole on and off the court. LeBron sounds like a guy you could just hang out and have a good time with. LeBron has had his bad PR moments, but imagine yourself in his shoes. You were hyped up to to be "the one" when you were 15-16. It is insane to maintain a level perspective with that surrounding your upbringing.

Is LeBron the NBA A-Rod? I don't mean in terms of steroids, leave that aside. People loved the hate on A-Rod, way before his PED usage came out. He seemingly never did the right thing and the right time.

I guess it's comparative. I never quite understood all the hate Arod got. Besides the time he tried to slap the ball out of the Red Sox players glove and yelling at a fielder as he was rounding the bases I always thought he played the game the right way. I think people mostly hated him for his contract at first.
As for LeBron a lot of it is people upset he's not playing for their team. They hold him to a standard that is completely unfair. They think Jordan never missed a shot. I love watching him play but I think he's a mental midget. Same thing happened in the '11 finals. He couldn't handle it that he wasn't the guy in that series and the pressure got to him. Wade had to step back to caress James's ego.
I think a problem for both of them is when you are told from a young age you are the next big thing then the media gives you nonstop coverage and the money is pouring in its hard to stay grounded. But besides the steroids for Arod neither of them have ever gotten in trouble with the law.

You are forgetting the Super Bowl "popcorn" incident, him signing a baseball and giving it to a cute woman in the stands when the Yankees were losing to the Orioles in the 2012 ALDS. He also got caught with a stripper while on a road trip by the media. Divorce soon followed. He had those bizarre photos of him kissing a mirror in GQ. He opted out of the biggest contract in MLB history in 2007 to get........EVEN more money. He also struggled mightily in almost every big game moment excluding 2009.

His GF feeds him popcorn and thats a reason to hate him? I'm sure the gq pics were the photographers idea. He opted out because he should have. That's the clause in his contract. I dont blame any athlete making as much money as they can while they can because they can't play forever. The other stuff I can't defend. I completely forgot about the hooker stuff. The guys definitely a tool but he never organized a dog fighting ring or beat his wife.

He's the kid who always wanted to be #1 but was never particularly liked by his peers or fans. I love how every time he left a team, they improved dramatically the following season. - Leaves Seattle in 2000. Mariners set MLB record in 2001 with 116 wins. - Leaves Texas in 2003 following last place finishes, they finish above .500 in 2004 They use to call him the "cooler" in Texas because anything he touched, went ice cold.
