This year is gonna be pretty exciting. Can't wait to see all the injured players return to action and how all the new teams develop.
Watching Lebron is must see Tv at this point if you are a basketball fan. I don't care if you think he is the greatest, there isn't another basketball player like him in history and as a player he is about as complete as they come.

Heat three-peat... God bless. really really tough to do, but I'm not betting against Lebron, not in his prime. Wade and Bosh will need to step it up. They looked solid last night. Either way its gonna be interesting to see what happens with the heat after this season. I'm not a cleveland fan at all, but I am a duke fan and seeing Lebron with Kyrie would be primetime tv. |

Lebron's in the zone...i doubt the Heat set the single season wins record, but Lebron will probably get another MVP... i also seriously doubt Lebron goes back to Cleveland. i think the whole "Decision" was aimed at Dan Gilbert, the Cavs owner, who i don't think Lebron thinks too highly of... i also doubt Lebron goes to the Lakers, because like i mentioned in a previous post, i don't think younger players really like Kobe. i see Lebron staying in Miami. he seems to really respect Pat Riley, as he should. Pat Riley's probably the most respected person still actively involved with the NBA. God bless. |

I'm proud to say I STILL haven't watched a NBA game since Jordan beat the Jazz in 1998. NBA went through a tough transition from Jordan. The late 90's and most of the 00's the league didn't really come off must see TV. Granted I LOVED T-Mac, AI, and all those guys. However in recent years thats changed a lot. The league is really exciting and has an outstanding cast of players. Honestly I doubt in the 90's if you ever saw a player like Lebron, Westbrook, or Durant (and a couple more). The game/league may not be tampered to your liking or interests anymore but I do think over the past 5 or so years, the league has improved a lot with image and style of play. Really if you're a basketball fan not watching LeBron is a crime. Durant is a once-in-a-generation type of talent as well. The game hasn't seen anyone like either of them in my opinion. I don't think the league will ever reach the highs it did in the 80's and 90's, but its come along nicely. |

Lebron's first year in Miami was the zenith of the NBA's popularity but it's still enjoyable... the league not ok'ing Chris Paul's trade to the Lakers and the Lakers not hiring Phil Jackson were bullshit but whatever.
