I appreciate honesty and don't take this the wrong way, but your posts are almost always negative. And that's in general not just towards the band. You're entitled to your opinion but you must not like Beady Eye that much and at this moment in time this is a Beady Eye forum...

Hence the reason I haven't been very present on this part of the board since I heard the album or at least not participating in the chatter about the tunes. I don't hate it...but I don't really love it...so I'm not bothered to actually discuss it or even really think about it. Haven't even been reading most of the gushing or raging threads because I am mostly ambivalent and both types of opinions seems slightly ludicrous.

This was an easy question that didn't require analysis or thought so I'd post as I was bored.

Maybe I shouldn't have added the "I don't have the desire to" bit...but I did.

It's not like I'm discworld or whoever running around saying how much I loath this project. All in all, I think I've been fairly level about this release. It's a 6-7/10 for me...which is a bit of a disappointment considering they are the remnants of my favorite band but doesn't make it a bad album.

To say I haven't said anything positive about BDI isn't right either. The worst I've been is ambivalent. I haven't said I hate anything...except maybe SOTEOTN.

I didn't even jump on the BTL hate wagon. I haven't found anything to be hyperbolic about...but believe me not for lack of desire.

Unfortunately for me, in the absence of those things to be hyperbolic about, the only things to comment on are the small/moderate sized flaws.

They album just doesn't grab me.

I MIGHT grab the album if they were a new band. But I know I wouldn't join a forum for that band

I am looking forward to their next release because I am hoping they are still figuring out what they are going to do with BDI. I am hoping they grow into themselves.

DGSS above HC? I don't think it's that revelationary an opinion.

I rate HC around 6/10 and DGSS around 7/10.

Rather listen to DGSS as a whole over HC, but I'd rather listen to individual songs off HC.
