I'm sorry but liam and Co aren't retards. They aren't going to waste a TV opportunity on a "filler" or "potential 3rd or 4th single" GGTIA and KTDA is in the same league with ICSAL? Outrageous.

GGTIA and KTDA is in the same league with ICSAL? Outrageous. did i say that?? souldigger was referring to the fact that they don't do fillers OR potential 3rd or 4th singles on television. ggtia or ktda would have been a good potential 3rd or 4th single from d.b.t.t. in my eyes, a lot better than that steaming pile of shit that was let there be love.

Although I love kfad I don't think it should be the next single....it's exactly what people would expect from an oasis related release and wouldnt convince people to give the eye a chance, they need the catchiest most accessible tracks to get the casual listeners attention and the two tracks that are perfect for that are for anyone (remember how popular songbird was and gave hc great momentum, this would have the same effect) and the beat goes on(the older generation will love this, & they are the majority of beady eye genre music buyers)......then I'd release kfad or an edited wigwam (first 2 mins 32 secs are single material alone), but in this day & age all album tracks seem to be released as singles.....how many tracks can pink, and that little scrote bieber release in a year? Permanently got a song out!!!!!!!, I just hope that beady eyes marketing dept get it right cos I feel oasis' latter albums were marketed very poorly!!!

I do think KFAD would be a good choice for the next single. And after that TBGO without a doubt. I have the 4 live recordings from the KEXP session on YouTube and TBGO is easily the most watched & commented video + a LOT of people are mentioning TBGO on facebook and twitter as their favourite with the 'so long so long' line. Other than KFAD, 3RC would be a good single to. A lot of people are liking that song as well. And that live version completely blew me away

Singles don't make any money, the abbey road performance was album promo, hence they played an album track. The tracks they chose to play were probably based on the fact they wanted to show different sides of the report, nothing to do with a potential 2nd single.

^Agree with this. They wont sell tons of mp3's of Millionaire but it'll get a lot of airplay, the video will be on a lot on all the music channels and more and more people will be aware of Beady Eye But i wake up this morning and see practically every song will be the next single. Its embarassing lads. (Okay granted only 3 threads). But 'its all but official - Kill for a dream will be the next single ? Come on Souldigger. Its basically your opinion and thats it. Its not official or that. Kill for a dream i think is a very slow boring song, i dont mind it but for a single hell no. Happy its Millionaire which has single written all over it. And last.. Kill for A dream- in my opinion there is no way they wouldn't take the opportunity to show the Nation there 2nd Single then on TV. Its all but official in my eyes. Load of crap. When Oasis did a similar show when Be Here Now came out they actually performed 'be here now' which was never a cd single or anything else. They just performed a few songs to show off the album, some fast ones (4 letter word/btl) and medium ones (the roller) and a nice slowie to show theres variety on it. All because they performed a song live doesnt mean it'll be a single ! Come on. Its embarassing what with all the 'the leak is imminent' crap and now all the 'xxx will be the next single, bet your house on it...' rubbish.

Makes sense to me... KFAD second single and TBGO for third.... its the perfect choice and i dont give a **** about the songwriter of the single.Beady Eye is a band with four great musicians, not Liam's band definitely agree. perfect choice for a single.and the beat goes on next. i m definitely sure that with a clever video n some promo it can make it in america. it used to hate comments such as "sounds like Nickelback's rockstar" but actually i have to admit that it sounds like rockstar!!!dont get me wrong.it also reminds me of little james, probably all in my mind or keep the dream alive , but most of the people (not the oasis fanbase) will bring in their minds "rockstar".the big hit that gave Nickelback massive sales (i hate nickelback) "kill for a dream" is a perfect choice with a strong american friendly sound & melody, a good tempo , memorable and simple but also lovely lyrics "...Life's too short not to forgive You can carry regrets but they won't let you live I'm here if you wanna call Staring at the spot on the wall It's a beautiful world when you know who you are You're moving too fast in the back of the car...I'd kill for a dream tonight"that everyone would like to sing , with massive "Na na na na na na" singlalongs for summer festivals.

Still think 'The Beat Goes On' would make the best next single. Definitely one of the best tracks on the album, even if the main chorus is a little cheesy.
Would probably prefer 'Three Ring Circus' as a single if it had to be a "Rocker". Not really many choices left though. They probably should have just put out 'Four Letter Word' as the first main single instead of The Roller. Don't think Bring The Light did them any favours.
If it were me, I'd of had these tracks released all as proper singles in this order... 1. Four Letter Word 2. The Roller 3. Three Ring Circus 4. The Beat Goes On

If it was up to me it would have been changed to this:
Free Download: Bring The Light -> Beatles & Stones Promo Track: Four Letter Word -> The Roller 1st Single: The Roller -> Four Letter Word 2nd Single: Millionaire -> Millionaire/3 Ring Circus Double A-Side 3rd Single: For Anyone
That gives each member 2 releases each.

Mine would have been:
Free Download: Bring The Light (definitely not changing it)
Promo Track: Wind Up Dream
1st Single: Four Letter Word 2nd Single: The Roller 3rd Single: The Beat Goes On
So...What is the next single then? PLEASE!!!

I like the idea of having an EP instead of two promo singles, so in November we would have: - Bring The Light - *new b-side* - World Outside My Room - Man Of Misery - Sons Of The Stage
Then 3 singles staggered, one before the album, one with the album and then one after during the festivals.
First Single - Four Letter Word (Jan 2011) Second Single - Millionaire or Three Ring Circus (Feb/March 2011) Third Single - For Anyone (May/June 2011)
